Marvellous Chinese cloisonne elephant pendant

Just under an inch tall and about 1-3/4 inches long, this handsome little beast is made of enamel over brass, with decoration on both sides - including a large flower on each side of his blanket - and on top. The 30-inch blue cord features a pan chang knot, which represents the cycle of life. You can of course hang it from another cord or a chain. There are two holes in the bottom, but I don't know their purpose, if any. The piece is in very good condition. Check out my other cloisonne jewelry, too!
