Mary Portas Asymmetrical Little Black Dress (LBD)

The fabric of this LBD has a nice weight and feel I bought it at a Mary Portas boutique on Oxford St in London, UK, and it has never been worn. It was one of those "just-in-case" purchases - I have many of those in my closet, as I am sure you might have noticed It is an asymmetrical cut and shape, which is what causes it to drape so beautifully - see the seams in photos 6 (showing outside of front) and 7 (showing inside of front) Wear it with a belt, as shown here, or simply on its own, maybe with a chunky turquoise necklace and/or earrings, patterned stockings, and a nice pair of heels. The set of "Pearl and Glass Bead Necklace & Matching Earrings" would also work well. A bit dressier than the turquoise might be, this jewellery could elevate the dress to cocktail party status. You could even pair this dress with the Sonia Rykiel cotton jacket, which is here in my closet.
