Magnificent piece by Maurice Chalvignac, a French ceramicist based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. 1960-1970. Colorful and textured vase. Mid-Century Modern (MCM) style. Lava glaze. Scandinavian influence. Hard to find. The base shows some wear and there is a chip that we cannot see if we don't look under the vase. (see photos). Otherwise, no breaks or chips. Smoke-free home. Final price. I recycle as much of my packaging materials as possible. It won't be the most beautiful, but it will certainly be made with love.
