McGraw Box Co. Red Cedar Jewelry Box with Mirror and Fabric Lining - 1960/70s

This is a wonderful vintage red cedar wood jewelry box from the 1960s or 1970s. It has ornamental brass elements and brass handles on each end. The seams are dovetail ensuring a long life! It was made by McGraw Box Co. in New York. The top has a rounded treasure chest shape. The inside has a mirror in perfect condition on the inside of the hinged top lid. (I had to photograph the mirror upside down to avoid reflections!). The interior has blue fabric lining which is worn and torn - could be removed and replaced with new fabric. Measurements: 9.25 inches long, 5.25 inches wide, and 4.25 inches high. Condition: The wood is still in great condition while the brass décor items show tarnish. As already stated, the blue fabric lining is torn and stained. This lovely box would make a great collectible item to display on vintage furniture!
