I Just Reached POSH AMBASSADOR II STATUS!! I Originally Started Posh Because Of My Complicated Autoimmune Issues. To Supplement, Working Hours I Could As A Nurse. I Had Spinal Neurosurgery, With a
Cage Placed in My Neck. Poor Recovery. Went Back to Work. Broke My Ankle. Poor Recovery. Went Back to Work. THEN Covid Hit. Got It Working Front Lines As A Nurse Year Ago. “NEVER” Same Since. Developed Dysautonomia (Autonomic Nervous System) & POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome) Lost Good Portion Of Vision, What’s Left Is Blurred. Had to have emergency LaserEye Surgery Due to increased pressure. Lost Good Portion Of Vision, What’s Left Is Blurred. Can’t Stand Over 10-15 min Before Heart Rate Reaches Upwards of 250. I Live My Life in 10-15 Increments! THEN Broke same ankle AGAIN 2 weeks ago! It Never healed & was displaced. So I’ve been walking around with broken ankle for 2 years! Im In Process of Moving. Need Surgery on Ankle, A plate to stabilize. BUT!!! I’M NOT GIVING UP!! This Is Who I Am Now! Doing What I CAN Do Here On Poshmark!!

Hi there, welcome to Posh! Love your new closet! And we are like 2 Peas in a Pod, I’ve had Rheumatoid Arthritis (JRA when I was younger and had a partial knee replacement)... I developed Lupus at 22 yrs old, so I am 13+ orthopedic surgeries and 3 lumbar spinal surgeries in my mid-twenties, what a disaster! I am also out of work, after being diagnosed with a blood clotting disorder. I hope you have better doctors in CA, vs. mine here in D.C.❤️

@cherylsapparels how is your back now, that you are post-op 12 months? So did the autoimmune disease cause the spinal degenerative issues? My advice to you is instead of pushing and pushing your body to go back to nursing, can you file for SSD or take your next position in hospital administration vs. hands-on nursing?

@posh_curves Hello! Nice To Meet You! Autoimmune sucks 😩🙏Yes Broke Down Discs & Spine. The titanium cage they put in had donor bone & My Body Attacked it it failed. Blew the discs it was attached to. Supposed to Have 2 more to fix. Broken ankle after 6 months still not healed. Need another knee surgery.

And Trying to Do This Also. I AM TORE UP TIRED! 😉🤪. Rested Most Of the Day-So So Inflamed & Painful. I have tons to list. But only enough energy to share right now, and that’s been minimal lately.

I’m gonna be 58 next month. It All started in my teens. I did not get my first Dx until mid 30s & Have Lost track of how many I Have Now over 20. @cherylsapparels I am so sorry for what you are going through, I live my life similar, not sure what’s going on yet I know I have extremely low iron and get infusions often or blood transfusions if needed, my daughter has been living with dysautonomia since she was 13. She’s now 27. It’s a very very hectic life. People can’t see the disability so it’s not often recognized as “ a big deal” if you will. But it is! People just have no idea.

@cherylsapparels Her doctor told us she had seen thousands of patients over 30 years and hers was the worst she’s seen. At 13 it was a heart breaking news. She has pots. I wish you the best and I will be praying for you. 😊💕🌷🎀🥰

@lolas_boutique_ 🙏💕🙋♀️ Yes, It’s Horrible When You Look “Fine”! I Also Have POTS! Rate for my Age! Almost 60. If inStand for more than 10 minutes my heart rate goes over 250 beats per minute, and I pass out!

@lolas_boutique_ came with ALL The new diagnosis after Covid. I stayed home from my nursing position for 3 Months! Because I was high risk. They put me in “Procedure Clinic” A Very High patient traffic area, instead of my usual position. Where all my coworkers (Nurses) were doing “phone triage”. Tried to “Break” Me & DID!

@cherylsapparels wow that heart rate is very dangerous, mine does the same not quite that high, I have to take metoprolol for my heart rate and my heart pvc’s. It’s very scary. Do you take meds?

@lolas_boutique_ 🙏💕AMEN On THAT! I Have So Much to list! But I can’t stand long enough to take the pics! I end up in a frenzy of sweat, palpitations, dizziness, and lightheaded. Hate It!! I live my life in 10 minute increments! 🙏I Ihave been on multiple meds & failed them all. Have many tests & specialists lined up. My Dr wants to get me into trials. Meanwhile Posh keeps me hopeful & is what I can do, sitting…Do what I can, when I can…

@cherylsapparels girl! Sounds just like me! I get super hot feeling, sweaty, heart races etc. it’s bad bad bad! Like I want to get up and work but it’s a huge chore! My family doesn’t quite get it, they think I’m just being lazy and the cause of my symptoms are from sitting in my bed too much. I am not always asleep but I have to sit here most of the day. It makes me feel useless sometimes. Yes let’s keep in touch! I love chatting with you. 😊💕🌷

Have “Bad Days” during, and I have to stay down…😣 But I’ve learned to make most of “good days” without robbing from next 😉. If I overdo it, mess myself for quite few Days. I’m amped up trying to get things listed, my house, yard, garden, in order before the heat 🥵 hits here in California. It has always affected me really hard with my MS Etc.. Now, TOTALLY WIPES Me OUT!

@lolas_boutique_ …So I’ve learned to prepare. I pack myself in full body ice packs, wrist & neck ice bands. And carry an igloo cooler with replacements to alternate on ice. It Is What It Is. I’m getting ready to move to higher country. Where it’s cooler. Temperatures of any extreme affect me but cold, much less 😉

@cherylsapparels oh hey.....go on Amazon and get you a sweaty Betty! they are AMAZING neck head face rags, kind of weird fabric but you soak it and it stays very cool for a long time it's not like anything I have seen before. we all love them here.
