Beautiful medieval looking Saint Peter storage box Made of wood -- Coated laminated canvas & red velvet interior Good pre-owned condition This beautiful box is perfect for storing a family bible or any other items that you value. Sepia-colored & black design of Saint Peter holding a key and a book in one hand on front & back. He is standing in the doorway of a church with medieval masonry designs of cherubs, suns & other medieval designs. Quite a large box -- it measures 12" long x 9" wide x 4" high. Lid opens up to a dark red velvet interior. Small areas on the left side of the velvet lining on the underside of the lid have come loose -- they could easily be glued back down. Botanical design on the spine. The other side is painted a dark antiqued gold. A really beautiful storage box especially for anyone who enjoys medieval designs & illustrations.
