@jamwams hi yes, complete outer shell is genuine (real) Leather, it does come with a shoulder strap but the strap is made of nylon.

Hi. I hate to bother you but I did look on the site and it appears that it is larger than 18. I believe it says 21 and I am wanting to take it on a plane as a personal item and the largest is 17 and I think 18 I could squeeze on so could you possibly double check and see what the exact dimensions of the bag are thank you so much

Yes it comes with an adjustable shoulder strap. (apologies we should have included a photo)
