Hi, I'm Jackie. I live in Conyers Ga, a suburb of Atlanta. Shopping is one of my favorite past times. My son started the closet with MY THINGS. He passed away unexpectedly on 02/19/22. I love the sunrise and sunset over the ocean. If it hadn't been for an illness in 2014 and treatment all year, 2015 my husband and I would have been IN those chairs. TREATMENT FINISHED 12/31/15. My heart is broken but my FAITH is not. GOD IS GOOD!

mymommascloset Thank you Janis. I have found that to be so true. There are some wonderful people here, buying, selling and supporting each other. I have read posts of some amazing, kind and loving people. There are posts that make me laugh and some that make me cry. Overall I am enjoying Poshmark because it has given me something to do that I love while making some money and making new friends. My last treatment is 12/31/15.....HAPPY NEW YEAR!

My praise report today is....We spent our 34th wedding anniversary looking at the sunrise and sunsets from our balcony condo we rented for the weekend of our anniversary. Additionally I am back to walking 2 miles every other day. GOD IS INDEED GOOD!!!!

We traveled from Iowa to MD Anderson in Houston. Amazing place. We started out with 30% survival and just Yesterday Dr called to tell us Steve is completely cancer free! sophisticated2 Me too, I have been living with one of the silent diseases for 5 years so most people don't know, buts it's changed my life tremendously. Haven't been able to work since 2010 so Posh has been a god send as I do enjoy shopping as well and basically had to buy a whole new wardrobe due to a dramatic weight gain due to my medication. God is so good, I'm grateful to be alive!

divineessence Hey Jackie! Just saying hello. I always want to call you momma because of your closet name. Hehe. I hope you're doing well. I also wanted to share a little tip with you that may help you with some more sales. If an item doesn't sell for about a month, maybe two, relist it. Poshmark uses an algorithm keeping newer things easier to find in searches. Likes don't always mean sales..it really does help and sometimes when you relist something it sells the same day!

mymommascloset @divineessence Thanks for the tip. I was in a lull do to the loss of my granddaughter's other grandmother on12/10 due to BC recurrence. We were the same age and actually were in treatment sometimes on the same days. I have deleted some listings and relisted them but not many. Some things I'm just going to donate. I wish you the best in school. You are a very inspirational wife, student and mother. Being retired after 44 years of work I DON'T WANT TO WORK TOO HARD...lol

My heart goes out to family because she lost her mom on Thanksgiving 2 years ago, then she was diagnosed. Please keep them in your prayers. Her name is Patty.

dianesteinberg Jackie, I think of you so often, and mean to write. I became a Grandmother on Jan 22nd - my son and wife are about 45 minutes away - this little child is a miracle to me - just holding him brings so much peace - and he's so cute. He's starting to look around and see his little world. We usually get to see him almost every week, but hopefully it will be more often. I was so thrilled to find out, and so glad to meet this little boy. We are blessed.

His Big brother is staying at his other grandmother's house for the weekend-she lives close, has some disabilities-she checks to make sure we can be there - A wonderful woman, a blessing to spend time with her & our active 3 year old grandson - Poshmark is slow, food and gas are insane, but we get by ♥️🛍Stay Well, & Thank you for your kindness

dianesteinberg @mymommascloset Hi Jackie, I wanted to thank you for all you taught me about poshing, I basically do what you do, share from closets when you choose to...Hope you are doing okay, parents are not supposed to bury a child. No matter the age, they are still our children. I don't know if I let you know I have two grandchildren now - one year old and 4 years old - what a blessing we have been given. We only get to see them about every 3 weeks or so, but they're 45 minutes away. 🙏🙏🙏With love, Diane

dianesteinberg @mymommascloset We had some similar life changing events - at different times of our lives - A Celebration of Life event sounds so beautiful - I will find out what that is, but Jeremy is part of our lives, and so many friends knew him. Five friends of his from High School contacted each other about 2 years ago, and each wrote a paragraph or 2 about Jeremy - that was an amazing and beautiful unexpected yet so thoughtful these 40 year old kids did this over 22 years after high school-Love, Dian
