nikitanoel Hey pretty lady! Just wanted to comment on your excellent taste in all things! Wow! It's like you are in my head when it comes to fashion and furniture! Now that I've discovered your closet I never have to go to the mall and walk around clueless again! LOL! I'm new to PM and haven't listed anything yet, I'm getting ready to tear apart all of my closets! Any advice? Also I'm size 6 sometimes 8, 7 in jeans and I'm 5'4". I have a video shoot coming up for a rock and on the beach for a song called Footprints in The Sand. They want me to be playing with my 6 yr old and walking down the beach. Do you have any suggestions?

I've been wondering about how to become a "suggested" Posher. Perfect--I'm on my way. 4 pieces of my closet have sold, and I literally have maybe 100 more to list so I have a ways to go but I'm ready to sell, sell, sell :) It really has been so much fun to get to know other Poshers and I L💖VE packaging pieces up and sending them off and then hearing the "I love it!!" when the lovely buyer receives the piece. dreambigger @_simonett Thanks! I really don't buy much at all in the stores found in malls--just not my thing. I LOVE finding the treasures in vintage/resale stores or sample sales, I love the personal expression of dressing, and all of the fun that goes into figuring out what works for you. At the end of the day, there are a lot of amazing pieces out there, great looks etc, but I am super passionate about finding those pieces that feel like "you" and that you can wear a lot. The fashion industry is super disposable, and I believe in investing! And then sharing pieces when they aren't being used which is why Poshmark is SO GREAT! I have also had the opportunity to work with some really amazing designers personally(I was a personal assistant and I also worked for designers in both their business and their personal lives so I've been involved in the design process as well as styling celebrities. My graduate work was actually in body movement analysis so I have a pretty intuitive sense for what works with all kinds of bodies and movement. As a result I have just been around some really interesting, innovative and creative people, and my closets have grown accordingly. Time to lighten up my own footprint and share the riches :)

_simonett @jasmineeleeg I have to pay taxes for everything I sell in Florida. Outside of Florida does not apply for me. Still, I have to report everything I buy and sell on a monthly basis and IRS automatically deducts whatever is taxable from my business bank account.

_simonett @jasmineeleeg I was the creative director of an events firm. I had lots of fun producing fashion events and mixers for local Miami brands as well as venues but after 3 years, I decided it was time venture into my own thing and open my company called Miami Style Mafia. I still produce events and work with tons of brands locally but I basically just work out of my laptop. The blog I've had for about a year now and it does take some time to produce original content but I still have time left over to focus on Poshmark. I have an assistant to helps me with sharing items and shipping orders so mostly all I have to worry about is buying, styling, and interacting with users on the app! So, it is a lot of work but I'm young and now is the time to kick ass and make moves!

_simonett @jasmineeleeg I initially joined Poshmark because their marketing team reached out to me to host a Posh Party in Miami since they followed my blog. At this point I was added as a suggested user which means every user on Poshmark can see your account on the suggested tab. Since then I've been picked as suggested 4 times and it is during those periods that I've gained massive follows. :)

_simonett @jasmineeleeg there is no guaranteed way but I would recommend posting cool items, taking good photos, sharing other peoples items that you like so that they return the love and being active on Poshmark! If you do all of those things and are constant you are bound to get noticed by the PM merchandisers and may land suggested :)

I know your shop is the one very huge fav for me that I keep going back to but what really seems to work is the fact that I'll think you've slowed down and leave for a while only to peek back later and see you've just sold out on many new items so THAT along with the cool factor of what you sell makes me HAVE to check back every day! ADDICTED!! So you do feed your closet constantly right? I wish you could get back some quick selling items I missed like that black spike hat, some of the cut-out dresses, tops....
