Thanks so much for taking the time to give me a sweet compliment @reneew80. ๐โค๏ธMy oldest will be 4yrs old soon. She was diagnosed with a Rare neurological disorder called Rett Syndrome. It's a regression disorder. Girls are perfectly normal until about 18 months old & all of a sudden they start to lose skills such as speech, mobility, hand use & more... Trapping them in a body that doesn't function for them.

@reneew80 Look up "Rett Syndrome" when you have a second. I will soon be adding another job to my resume: "Rett Syndrome Advocate". Spreading awareness is the initial step to finding a cure to this awful disease that robs little girls of their lives. Thanks again for the โค๏ธ and happy Poshing!

You're very welcome! I have heard of that syndrome before, I'd love to read up on it. Your daughter is so very fortunate to have such an amazing mom & advocate for her. I completely understand your dedication to your daughter & her disorder. I as well know the difficulties of raising a child with special needs. Our daughter is 12 and she was diagnosed with secondary microcephaly, & MR as well at 3 years old. She receives many services too. >>

Hi @reneew80 - yes, it's pretty amazing how us moms become experts on navigating through specialists, school district, and doctors. Learning the ins and outs have been such an eye opener for me. I wonder how it must be for moms who may not have the inner drive, the persistence, the voice to speak up, or may have a language barrier. I feel for them.

Not sure I'm supposed 2 do this sort of thing so if not pls let me know but I saw that U were trying 2 buy some cashmere perfume from another posher awhile back for way more & U may have already bought sum but I thought I would let U know just in case.
