I, personally, am particularly fond of an appletini and a Midori-tini. :) [I had my very first martuni {which was my grandparents' nickname for their favorite cocktail, and is also the name of a cool and swanky martini bar in San Francisco - I would love to take you!} at the ripe old age of 18 months!

musecalliopeia @diamond_dealz {I was toddling around in my walker, and was apparently thirsty, and saw what appeared to be a glass of water with *BONUS!!!* two green olives in it... and I picked the glass up, and before anybody could possibly do or say anything, I had swallowed the entire contents of the glass. It would be another 17 years before I could tolerate the taste of alcohol, and to this day, some 30 years later, I much prefer sweet drinks. }

diamond_dealz @musecalliopeia I am right there with you!! Had a rough year with a few too many sweet Tini’s 🍸 so had to put in the breaks while I shed some weight before I’m a grandma in spring. My favorite is blueberry (been hooked for years) the Swedish fish tini, the Jade (which is probably close to your madori one). I should prob start getting ready for work

I have been stuck in a horrible skilled nursing facility for almost four years, now, and only allowed out [other than for {some} doctors' appointments] maybe five times in that very long period.

musecalliopeia @raytchell I have also 'eloped' [as they call it here] or 'absconded' [which feels far more like the actuality] from the building three times, but except for the first time, which was amazingly overlooked, I have gotten into trouble with each occurrence.) And, if being "imprisoned" without just cause and, at this point anyway, no apparent means of regaining some sort of real life weren't bad enough...

musecalliopeia @raytchell ... adding the mostly inedible food, the series of nearly-impossible-to-live-with roommates, the almost complete lack of control over my environment (which affects my disabilities in a bad way), etc., etc., etc... well... the only thing(s) that could really help me are visitors, and tea, and some snax(tm).

To make a long story short (well, too late for that), if you have any interest in Janis' Pearl which has minor scuffs and was at a library at one time, Bee Gees Greatest double set in perfect condition, or Blood, Sweat & Tears with minor scratches on one side and a fine line across the flip side (no idea how well it plays) let me know.
