I love various retail brands (JCrew, BR, etc) and I have a flirty, girlie, classic style but absolutely love athleisure wear. 👍🏻 I'm a FT aerospace engineer by day and dress casual for it. Recently I lost 30 lbs after discovering a long undiagnosed thyroid disease - so I'm poshing my good condition items that don't fit. I'm ALSO trying out a capsule wardrobe (37 items per season) and clearing out tons of excess. I'm silly and goofy - but it doesn't always translate. 😜Thanks for reading!

michielyn @autumnlynn3 Thanks! The capsule wardrobe is interesting. I didn't completely stick to the rules. I did go through everything and pulled out the pieces that I absolutely love and want to wear all the time - and those are what I picked as my capsule pieces. I also didn't count any of my "laying around the house clothes". So instead of 37, I have about 60. I also didn't count shoes. It's also seasonal so those are 60 winter items (well and year round basics).

michielyn @autumnlynn3 As much as I love clothes and variety it was actually eye opening on what my style and colors are and made me realize if I don't absolutely love something I'm probably not going to wear it. Each time I have to make a decision or each time I change my outfit I'm adding clutter to my life. It sounds cheesy but it actually feels like a weight off my shoulders. Who knows if I'll keep it up. At least going forward I might make smarter clothing choices.

oliveleaf @michielyn Congrats on your weight loss!! I think we might have the same thyroid disease. 😐 I've had it all my life and weight has always been a struggle. I have Lyme disease as well but that came on later. Anyway, I also just lost 30 pounds through a combination of Autoimmune Paleo, calorie counting, and Armour Thyroid at the correct dose. I think that now that my thyroid is being better monitored I should be able to keep it off.
