erikad1996 Hi @headtopeeptoe I wore the Birkenstocks I purchased from you today for the first time and noticed the cork was splitting and the soul was coming unglued. After further research, I realized the Birks were fake. I gave a poor review but felt that was unfair until I gave you the opportunity to resolve the issue. Would you be willing to provide a refund if I sent the shoes back to you. Please let me know how I should proceed. Thanks so much! Appreciate your understanding.

headtopeeptoe @erikad1996 I am really sorry to hear that :( Why do you think they are fake? They were in perfect condition. My mom bought them here on posh and i was reselling for her because hey were too small. There was nothing to indicate they were not authentic.

erikad1996 @headtopeeptoe like a good counterfeit, they look real. today, I wore them for the first time and after a cple hours, the cork split & the soul started coming unglued. Upon further research, there is supposed to be a trademark on the upper end of the word “Birkenstock”. no trademark & the pic of the foot on the soul is unlike the one on an original Birk. I believe that you didn’t know, so wanted to give you a heads up before providing a rating. Will you be able to refund?

headtopeeptoe @erikad1996 I don’t believe they are fakes. They were real leather and came in a Biros box. If you hadn’t worn them, I would have done a refund. But since you’ve worn them, I don’t think I feel comfortable doing a refund.

erikad1996 @headtopeeptoe I’m sorry in advance but I will have to leave you a zero star review. They are completely falling apart and that was a lot of money that I’d been saving up specifically for Birkenstocks. I will have to file a formal complaint with Poshmark too. I’m really disappointed and saddened and feel very much taken advantage of.

erikad1996 Additionally, if you look at the real Birkenstocks listed on Poshmark and you compare the top souls of the shoes with the ones you sold, they’re different. No trademark and the picture of the drawing of the foot is very different from authentic ones.

headtopeeptoe @rmsd118 poshmark never sent me a packing slip or asked me to ship it back to you. Sometimes when an item is inexpensive they just reimburse you for the item rather than send a shipping label to the person who wrongly received it because it’s a larger cost to them for me to ship it back to you. Happy to ship it back if they send a label, as I will never use those items. I am NOT paying to ship it back though - posh would have to handle it.

rmsd118 @headtopeeptoe I’m still trying to figure this out. The other girl told me you can send back to sender. I never received any money for either items. Would you please tell me what steps I need to take I would so appreciate it. I was just told that you were refunded and the other girl wasn’t charged because you put in a claim and I was out all the items and no money. I appreciate you responding.
