Hi! I’m Laura and I live in Houston, TX. I am an empty nester and travel quite a bit, so do know that my shop closes down pretty much at least once a month, and for most of the summer. If my shop is open and you are interested in something, I suggest you snag it! I do my best to only sell things that are in really good condition. If there are imperfections that makes an item unusable or unwearable, or if something looks too worn, I will not sell it here. That stuff goes out the door in the trash or if still usable then for donation. I will only sell something that I genuinely think someone would be happy to buy second hand. My aim in selling my nicer things is to get them into the hands of someone who really needs or wants the item. I thoroughly clean non-clothing items before selling. Shoe soles are wiped with antibacterial wipes, and I do my best to eliminate any soil or dirty marks. I will use leather cleaners and conditioners to get my items into the best shape prior to selling. I will suggest further fixes if the item needs it. If a clothing item needs laundering, I will also do that before selling - I typically would not even sell a stained item knowing there is a stain. Basically, I treat my buyers the way I would want to be treated. I put a lot of thought into my pricing and while I do entertain offers and will negotiate somewhat. I generally do not accept lowball offers, so don’t waste your time. Happy to answer any questions that you have.
