ses54 @elliejo503 you're quite welcome & no he's still pretty much bedridden with this leg & I'm not much better to be honest! I have Fibryomalgia, Periodic Fever Syndrome & a torn rotator cuff at the moment/complete tear too! Can't get my surgery done till he gets better, otherwise we are both out of commission. Ha! So I just keep plugging along & pray 🙏🏻 things get better. Hope you are doing well also. Thanks for your concern. 🌺

musemax What is in Rouladen? I do like some German food. My dad has had some bladder issues this week, so that has been challenging with visiting nurses, doctors, tests, etc. It just doesn't seem like they have their act together. It can be quite disruptive to the day...but just have to go with the flow. I am glad you are doing well.

elliejo503 @musemax Rouladen is thin sliced top round, I put bacon strip, parsley, onion salt n pepper and roll up and secure with toothpick. Brown then bake low n slow for 3 hrs. Great with mashed, red cabbage and a butter salad. Mom was a WWII bride and I was born in Germany. Both my folks are gone, so I know and I feel your angst. Take care!

Lived in Hollywood Fl back 2005 when it was one hurricane after another! 🌪🌪 Had to evacuate 3 times Bc we lived right in the intercostal 2 blocks from the beach & it was a hassle! Believe me!
