But we try to stay positive by helping other children by telling her story. She's grown into such a beautiful woman and I'm so proud of her. ohlarissa Thank you @kas630 for the kind words. Through the years, I've learned to channel my stress and worries through other means... like PoshMark😊. But there has been times whee my husband has to take me on long drives so I can just cry. Those drives help me just release and I'm blessed to have him just understand (he's my second marriage, so not his kids... but loves them all as his own).

love10014 Oh wow I'm soooo sorry to hear this about your daughter. We are in the same boat. I have lupus and my employer fired me after learning. Now I'm in need of a surgical procedure that I can't afford due to the high copay. I will say a prayer for you and your family.

ohlarissa @love10014 It's tough sharing your disease. No one understands. So my daughter went to a town hall meeting in our city and asked if she can raise awareness by handing out flyers. That's how she started. Then she started speaking in schools, Jr High Schoolers first.. and so on, even churches

ohlarissa @love10014 we thank you for the prayers and will include you in ours as well. Lupus is not a nice disease to have. She's in stage 7 and undergoes chemotherapy to control her disease and keep her alive. It's a blessing her work also helps raise awareness

love10014 @ohlarissa I'm sorry your daughter is going thru. I'm blessed I finally found a doctor that believe me and these weird symptoms. Other doctors thought I was crazy. I've been sick for 5 years and was finally diagnosed last year. I used to love being in the sun, but now the sun hates me. Your daughter is so brave fighting for a cure. I wish her the best.

I hope one day my daughter will be lucky enough to find a man who will accept her, even with her illness. We will also keep you in our thoughts and prayers. Then it turned into fun dress-up, sorta 😆 It's really how YOU see it. How YOU in vision it. Kind of like, forcing a style on someone 😁

vicky_ymcagirl I still consider myself a newbie and still asking questions! I thought the closet had to be PC for HPs, that's what I've been telling people anyway! megankayx3 got a HP last night and already had another...and her website is M__ I just tried to send this to you, but PM wouldn't let me b/c I spelled out the M word saying couldn't advertise this. But I assume they are okay for HPs? I don't want to tell new people the wrong thing or make it harder for them to get HPs!

ohlarissa @vickyss - The rules given to co-hosts is to pick from closets that are Posh compliant. Majority of host picks do come from Posh compliant closets, however... with the amount of items a co-host picks, they forget that small criteria. For months I used to wonder the same until my friend got picked to be a co-host. We both read the rules and understood. But the night when she started picking items became overwhelming and fun at the same time.

ohlarissa @vickyss -cont.... At the end we used the search feature instead of looking through closets because it was time consuming. Advising Posh compliant closets is the right thing to do. Following those guidelines is also the right thing to do. So don't be discouraged, eventually everyone will have a PFF who will pick from their closets 😉.

abstractdreams I'm so sad to hear this! I've been dealing with SLE/Fibro for 35+ years & know it's a tough road! Have you read about diet on www.knowyourkidneydisease.com/ ? There are dietary tips to help maintain kidney function. Also, I've not heard Cerebritis used in connection for many years in relation to CNS Lupus. I sure hope they both have good Rheumatologists that they trust! That Dr.-Patient relationship is critical to success! I'll keep you & you family in my prayers!💕

ohlarissa Awe, thank you @tberger22. Sadly my neice lost her battle earlier this year at the age of 16. My daughter continues to fight and advocates on behalf of my niece and herself. Their story truely is amazing. Their strength and courage is beyond anyone could handle. And they both did and do it with a smile. Bri is now our gaurdian angle 👼

I am a pediatric nurse practitioner and have unfortunately been with my share of families and children during their low times of suffering and loss. It's not anything you would wish on your worst enemy.

They are both doing well, thank God, but I know what it's like to have a heavy ❤️ every day, worrying about their health. ohlarissa @hwatso1 Awe thank you Heather :) My daughter is doing well. She's a fighter, she's trying to get through this round of flare ups, but I know she'll get through it. Unfortunately my niece passed away last year at the age of 16. She developed a tumor in her stomach that kept growing, even after surgically removing it. She knew it was her time and we all had our chance to say good bye. She was an inspiration to us all.
