Hello everyone. I'm a happy posher, a Poshmark ambassador, a buyer, and a seller. I've been on Poshmark since 2014, and am a Suggested User. I'm 57 years old, and lived in San Diego most of my life. Moved to Hawaii for over 2 years and recently moved back. Have 3 wonderful grown children. An RN for majority of my life, but had to retire due to disability caused by Fibromyalgia, and chronic migraines. Now I Posh, oil paint, cook, and wrote a book "SPARED". My home is Smoke free.

Several Back and knee surgeries after lifting so many patients in the CCU for 12 + years. Now I stay at home and try to stay busy on my "good" days with minimal pain. I was an OB/GYN / mother/Baby / postpartum / Will baby nursery / complicated OB for 15 years, and for the last 5 I did advice Nursing on the phone in the obgyn clinic because I couldn't do bedside nursing anymore. I have a bad back also.

lesleymmc @scarletsecrets hindsight I wish I would have done mother/baby, easier on the body than CCU/IMC but I felt like I needed a vast skill set because I was going to get into teaching. I finished my Masters degree while recovering from surgery. Didn't get me anywhere.

lesleymmc I worked for Palomar/Pomerado in Escondido. Became disabled before moving into new and improved (facetiously says ...worked my butt off for that Magnet status monstrous hospital) hospital on the hill but have spent much time there as a patient. I can't wait to meet you either! 💕💕💕💕😊

scarletsecrets @cerraeh Thank you for the comment. I have 2 female mannequins. One is predominantly for jeans, and she has a great shape and make jean booties look so good. I got her from a local store which was going out of businessThe one with brown hair is for dresses, tops, skirts and smaller jeans. She was purchased when a Macy’s in my area was going out of business.

I understand if you’re working full time, that leaves you with less time to share, but any share is good. 3 vital elements that directly effect your sales are sharing, following, and frequent listing new items. I have 850 active items, and it takes me 1.5 hours to completely share my entire closet.

scarletsecrets @lizzbeth1024 I usually share in the evenings, or if there is a specific party going on, for example best in jeans, I share to those as well. Follow as many closets as possible. The more followers, the more exposure, equals more possible sales. Posh is a very social platform, and you have got to stay engaged. I find it fun and rewarding. Please feel free to ask me if you have any specific questions. Even in the future, which I’m sure you will, I’ll be happy to answer them for you.

scarletsecrets @lizzbeth1024 Yes I share my own closet, then go to the main feed and share a bunch of other people as well. As far as packaging I have tried real fancy when my sales were not everyday, and I had a lot more time. Now I wrap everything with 2 tissue papers, white on the inside, color on the outside, then a thank you card taped on the outside, placed inside a bread bag, and use a usps box, and ship.

spicastars I am sorry that you had to end your Nursing career due to your Fibromyalgia. Idk personally how painful it is but I have relatives who suffer from it as well so I have heard and I’m sorry to hear the same about you. Living in Hawaii must be just like...living in heaven? 😉💕My brother is a Marine in Oahu and he wants me to go down there with him & buy a place so I’m thinking of selling this spring to make the move! 😁I am SO excited!
