Welcome to my closet! My name is Lauren. I am a middle school teacher in New Jersey looking to empty my closet before I move. Before teaching, I worked in consignment for 6 years. I learned how to spot flaws in clothing quickly, the value of pre-worn clothing, and what quality looks like. This means you’ll get high-quality pieces in great condition at a fair price. I hope you enjoy my closet! 🤗

@laurenmaureen Hi. Thanks for sharing items from my closet. You have the most beautiful hair. Sorry if that sounds weird. I have been trying so hard to find shampoo/condition and or styling products to help my curls. Do you mind sharing what you use? Thanks and happy Poshing!

@classicstyleluv Haha thank you! Not weird at all 😊 I’ve experimented with a ton of products, but I mainly follow the curly girl method—no sulfates or silicones. I actually have an Instagram just for my hair if you’re on it! @thisonesforthecurls I list all the products I use on each post.

@classicstyleluv On this particular day I used Mielle Organics Babassu Shampoo, Pacifica Pineapple Hydrate Mask, Giovanni Direct Leave-In, Loma Curvy Creme, and MySoigne flaxseed gel hahaha. My routine has simplified since covid, so I really just wash with Trader Joe’s Tea Tree Shampoo+Conditioner, and scrunch in Kinky Curly Knot Today leave-in 😊

@laurenmaureen Thank you so much for taking the time to post all of that. I’m going to check into all these products and give it a try. My curls or just frizzy lately. 😘

@classicstyleluv No problem! I actually always recommend Aussie Instant Freeze gel to start with. Scrunch in a quarter sized amount to wet hair, and diffuse or let air dry, then scrunch out the crunch. It’s a great, cheap product to try first!
