Hello Poshers! I'm Tara and thank you for looking at my closet! I live in Alaska, born & raised, and love it! God has blessed me with the most wonderful daughter anyone could ever ask for and is the joy of my life. I have a passion for photography, natural beauty, and traveling. chemierre A little more, since there wasn't much room above and I feel like it all was jumbled in there, lol. I am currently a SAHM, and I couldn't ask for a more fulfilling- or exhausting!- job. Our daughter turned 2 in January, and she is a ball of never-ending energy! She is our entire world and a constant source of entertainment, lol! Previous to having her, I was attending college for a degree in photography, something I hope to complete one day when she and her future sibling are a little older. During the summer of 2009 I was fortunate enough to be able to travel a good portion of the Western US, which was where I discovered my passion for photography. I drove through WA, ID, OR, CA, NM, Nevada, Utah, and Arizona, and was able to visit The Grand Canyon, Carlsbad Caverns, Crater Lake, Las Vegas and many more exciting attractions. I then drove back to Alaska via the Alaska- Canada Hwy, which took me about four days and over 3,000 miles. BUT, I got to see SO MUCH! And it was one of the highlights of my single life before meeting my husband and having my daughter. As for Posh- I discovered it completely on accident one day during a google search for something. Long story short, I found what I was looking for- and then thought, "what a great way to pull in some extra money!". So there you have it, and now I'm hopelessly addicted to Poshmark 😄😉. Anyway, before I write a novel... That is me! I love traveling, photography, being with my family, and anything to do with fashion & shopping 😉 Thank you again for stopping by my closet and having the patience to read through all this 😉and God Bless! 💜💛💙

chemierre @65ds_do_it_btr Nicole! ☺️☺️ no, my husband is National Guard right now, and works as a full time federal tech on base during the week. He's been trying the last year or so to go active, but there's unfortunately been no positions open for his rank. I'm pretty ok with this at the moment 😉, (but that's just me being selfish lol) because it means he is less likely to be deployed, but at the same time I know it's something he really wants, so we will see! anoliver Tara! I love this! You are adorable and what a beautiful little family💞 We seem to have so much in common, #1 being our precious kids- so envious that you are a SAHM, would give anything to do that! I love to travel too, if I was wealthy that's all I would do😉 I'm so glad you put this up- I feel like I know you a bit more now! You are such a sweetheart and I feel blessed to have met you!! chemierre @anoliver Awwww!! You are so sweet! 😉 I have been meaning to comment on yours but keep getting interrupted lol. I read about your Africa mission trip- that's amazing! I would love to be able to do something like that! I have a serious phobia of spiders 😝and certain insect-like creatures though, idk if I would make it! 😉 You are a beautiful and amazing woman!☺️☺️ I am VERY fortunate to be able to stay home with my daughter- THAT is an interesting story actually, because I almost had to go back to work around this time last year. My husband has a federal job and when the furlough was being discussed, we didn't think we would be able to make all our bills. So I started job hunting because I knew we needed it, but oh my goodness I did not want to be away from her especially while she was still so young. So I prayed my heart out for whatever was best for our entire family and guess what? Ten years of retail and a few of office experience and not ONE response to any of the jobs I applied for! So yes, I Am blessed to be able to stay home! I wish every mom that wanted to could! But I do have to say, I sometimes miss being around peers lol. It's hard to go out with our friends who don't have kids and are discussing their careers and the new $500 purse they bought, and I'm like, "hmmm, I spent my day cleaning up poo and mess after mess and the highlight of MY day was getting a shower!" Lololol! And it's hard sometimes too, because I loved college! But there's no way I could do that and SAHM- my daughter has reached her terrible twos!! 😄😄 I am so glad to meet you! I have met such wonderful ladies on here since Sharon found me!! I love it!! Don't be a stranger! Come back and chat anytime! ☺️☺️☺️☺️

chemierre @anoliver I'm so sorry, I got carried away and I meant to say "thank you!" For your sweet compliments! And also, to add, that yes, my husband and I both prayed about me going back to work and God answered, but not just by me not getting a job, he provided us with a much cheaper place to live temporarily so we have been able to work on paying off some serious debt. I just realized as I was sharing stuff that what I had told you earlier almost sounded awful, lol, I prayed and got to stay home w my daughter, and.... Left my husband to struggle with making enough money- No! Lol. Sorry, I worry a lot about leaving people with the wrong impression- probably too much. But suffice to say, God has been good to us, and we are trusting Him to see where he leads us next. And also, have a VERY blessed day yourself! 😊😊😊💕💕💕

anoliver Tara, you need never to worry about the impression you leave- it's one of a beautiful soul full of love and light😇 I loved reading your story and I know you are an amazing mother and wife- and friend😉 I am so very blessed to have met you- I love how The Lord brings His girls together❤️ I am so happy that you were able to stay home with your daughter-God is good!! I wasn't suppose to be able to have kids, in fact my body makes zero hormones so I don't have the building blocks to procreate but I prayed and God is faithful🙏 After seven years of waiting I had my precious lil girl- my drs were stunned to say the least😉 So if I have to work to support her, I'll do it with a smile on my face and a song in my heart! I pray continued blessings for you and your family and count you as one in my long list😘

chemierre @anoliver oh wow! That's so amazing!! It's amazing how God comes through, isn't it? But it's always in His time, ie; when we least expect it lol! That's how my husband and I met! I had given up on having a family after a devastating breakup, but I told God that if it was within his plans, I would still like to one day... Figured it wouldn't happen for years, but a year later... I met my husband and he is truly a Gift from God! As is our precious daughter 😊 I love hearing stories like yours! I am so happy for you!! I got all teary eyed reading your response- funny, never used to cry so easily til I had my daughter, lol. 😉 Also, just thought i would share this: Shortly before I started PM, I prayed for some good friends to come into my life. I have one very good friend but she lives far away in NC, but other than that, I don't really have many since becoming a mom. Most of the people my husband and I hang out with don't have kids and it's just so hard to relate. Again, thank you for your sweet encouraging comments and so SO glad to have met you! 😊😊😊

Tara, I could say the exact same thing verbatim about the going out with your friends and them talking about their $500 bag, while you are thinking well I just cleaned my daughter's butt all day LOL I was in retail for 10yr as well, so go figure! Angela!! Your story about your Daughter is amazing!! I am so happy for you and she is absolutely beautiful! God knew she was too cute not to pass on to you!! I have to tell you, I have been struggling with not having believer friends where I live, and the people on here I've gravitated towards, that I've been blessed with just a more than "just a share or two" have been God fearing women. So thank you and thank God for you!!😘

chemierre @rad2474him @anoliver How funny that we should all happen to meet on a fashion website of all things?! Lol, I'm always amazed by the creative way God goes about his business, working in mysterious ways! I love browsing the inet and stores for interesting and fun fashion finds, an BAM found PM and you ladies! I have the same problem here in AK- sure, I know a lot of people, but am close with very few, and not many that are my age, and just about NONE that follow God. My husband has his "guys night" and has a blast, then he gives me a night off ( because he is so sweet 😉) to do whatever, and I usually wind up running errands or grocery shopping... And I think, "wow, I really DONT have a life anymore- at least not much of a social one" lol! So I started praying a few months ago, telling God, "I'm sure I sound absolutely pathetic and you have many more important prayers to answer, BUT I could really use some good people close to my age that have kids too in my life.." And here we are😊 I love Poshing, but I've started to really enjoy chatting with you ladies and look forward to that more than any of the fabulous items being sold on here😊😊 I just wish we all lived physically closer to each other so we could all get together sometime and have a REAL girls night out!
