theauroraonline Thankfully I found Posh, and it is here that I have found my special zen place where I can look at all the pretty clothes to my heart's delight! As of today I am still a month in and learning new things and meeting new people everyday. I am adding new listings soon and hope to share some new items occasionally from my boutique, The Aurora Company, as well. Thanks Poshers for all the love you've shown me already!

theauroraonline Hey! @cileia Thanks for stopping by and for the warm welcome! I'm opening up online in June...and then I'm hoping by early next year my actual storefront is open, I'll keep you up to date. I don't know how well you know CT, but I live 10 mins southwest of Hartford and I'd probably open up somewhere around that area - West Hartford, Avon, Farmington. Hopefully I open sooner in the year and I get some visits from Poshers! That would be too cool for words.

My advice is save money and build good credit, take business classes, research - just prepare yourself as much as possible and then take the plunge. I'm turning 34 and my dad left retail management when he was 38 and built a very successful business for himself. I just realized life was too short to spend it unhappy!

I was in a car accident on Sat and then found out today I have a concussion. I get massive headaches if I'm in front of a screen for too long so I've had to wean myself away from it a little.
