These are pix of my life, home & family. I'm 52 & from Boston. (Dorchester, actually) No difference, it's a section of it. Born & bred. Yes, hardcore! I just got married to my 1st love (& also his) Nov 18th. It was the 35th anniversary of our 1st date! We've been on & off all that time. Love conquers all! I raised my God Daughter, so I was a single parent. Best job I ever had! She's now 24 & successful. My Stephen & I have our kids (Dude & Hazel, pictured). We're enjoying our life together! ❤

rubydi These pix of my Bella & me are at the Soundgarden concert 2 yrs ago for her b-day. I'm a teacher at a Barber School. Been in the biz 36 yrs. I love teaching the kids to be successful! Stephen & me at Misquamicut Beach in R.I. Pix of Stephen & me exchanging our vows in our parlor. My mom's a JP, so she married us. I gave her 3 days notice! It was beautiful. This is the life we've always wanted & we now have. There's a pic from 1979 & 2013. Then, there's our 2 "kids", kitties Dude & Hazel (named after his mother). We love our adventures & have a lot more living to do. We're looking forward to it! We have so much fun & have always been best friends, on & off. No rules in our home, just lots of love!! ❤

hopejeans We would def be best friends💜 I just turned 50 December & got married for the first time sept 9 last year 💏 my most fav food ever is 🍕🍝🍷Italian, yummmmy. I'm going to see sound garden in August. I saw Chris Cornell on his acoustic solo tour 2 yrs ago 2nd row center. To have your 1st love be the one is hard to do. Imagine getting it right on the 1st try??? He always treated me like a queen & now I treat him like a king. We thank God everyday for what we have. It's nice to say I'm happily married! He does too! It was meant to be, huh? Soulmates for sure! Truly blessed!! ❤❤❤❤❤

glistendove Agreed! I screwed up by being in the first marriage, he wasnt "the one".. It only lead me to my "true" soul mate that im with now. I would have never found him if it werent for my ex moving me to the east coast. Life has many turns and obstacles but instead of giving up some people just learn how to get around them but people like us plow thru it. :o)

Some people choose not to. I was engaged twice after Stephen & I broke up after almost 4 yrs. I went thru w neither. It was something I thought I was supposed to do. That's never a good reason. I didn't wanna end up like my parents either. Stayed together, but shouldn't have. They've come full circle & so have Stephen & I. I love your story! rubydi @pfassionista Thanks, Marianne! You know what I did? The Secret. A year & a half before I saw it on Oprah. They said to write down every detail of what you want. It can be a job, house, etc. too. Anyway, I was really missing him & talking to my mom abt him. I wrote down what I wanted in a guy & put it away. 2 years later, he shows up outta nowhere! The universe gives you what you put out there. I hope I don't sound crazy! I've always had faith. I'm not into religion. Just good Karma 😊

I love all of that stuff! If you pay attention, you'll see instant Karma too. Lets say a car cuts you off. Then THAT car gets cut off. Instant Karma! You get what you give 👍

grace4d Hi. we married at age 20. Tried fertility quite assaulted, etc.. Told we were never going to have a baby. My health = wouldn't let us adopt. So we split up but remained married.. Love was always there but dreams we had were hurt.. later, we got back together, lol. Thought it wb just us..10 years later our son was born. Total of 30 + yrs but we felt we were new. This kid has been a joy for us.. Fun from day one. :) blessed. Dee
