@jillianka I worked for the county health department. The county is old south so because I am charged with a "violent crime" I had to be let go. I was charged NOT convicted of simple domestic assault. My lawyer said it will be dropped by the DA's office because it is clearly self defense with no other wound to him and bruises all over me.

I had one in my closet a while back and took it down due to Posh drama, now wishing it was still there. Anyway, love getting to know more about you, and I love your curly hair! I've fought mine most of my life, now starting to accept it bc my youngest daughter has it too. Mine is more wavy though. Wow, your job is intense, no wonder some days you're just too tired for Posh! @mytherapy Aww thanks for the kind words!!! Curly hair is definitely fun, but pretty difficulty to msnage in rain, snow, humidity, well...most climates NY endeavors..lol. I have never done one bc of the possible drama it can bring, but I decided I'm still going to keep drama out of my closet. Ha. You should go ahead and re-do one. Would LOVE to read it. I have 2 girls, 6 and 4. It's so much fun but so exhausting. I stopped working thinking it might be easier but staying home is actually harder! And now with all the school stuff added on- WHOA! My 4 yo is the one with the curls, sadly she doesn't love her hair- she told me that when she is 25, she's going to make her hair "blond and straight"! 😂😂😂

Yes, they are only 22 months apart, which is good because they play well together! And I meant their school stuff, not mine- I have completely lost my ability to focus like that, I'd fail in a second if I went back to school! 😉 How old are your stepdaughters? 💕

@mytherapy That is great that they can play well together...lol..wasn't sure if you meant your school or theirs, but you would probably do better than you think..my stepdaughters are 22 and 14..lol...same ages as 2 of my brothers..again..long story..let's just say, my mom had me young...and my husband and his ex-wife also started young..lol. Stories for another day, Mina! Ha. It's 1am here, and I will have to try to sleep, so I can function tomorrow. :-) Goodnight, love!

We had a couple of huge unexpected expenses, so our main trip to a tropical island was postponed intil 2017 maybe..but will do little weekends away here and there, I hope. Heehee. Yay !! Thanks for first dibs ..LOL 😉 Still haven't moved yet . my boyfriends work has slowed down a bit..so thats on hold right now . still going back and forth !! He is living in a hotel in Dublin OH..its more like a one bed apartment... Its actually very nice with full amenities...i just cant live in a hotel permanently !! So i stay with my mom...and my cats ..haha.. I need to get the WF hoodie "lets live in a hotel " hahaha ....i showed him that one....he laughed 😁😁

@jillianka Yes, that's what the sw stands for. I've spent most of my career in behavioral health - inpatient and outpatient. I switched to hospice about 2 years ago. Love both paths and I'm interested in all social issues. And you?

There are 3 hospitals in the Health system where I'm working and one is also opening a crisis stabilization unit soon. My title is medical social worker but I'll be doing both medical sw and psych evaluations.

@jillianka that's awesome! I am not new to the world of social work but only recently got my MSW from SDSU (in May 2014). I interned at a school and at a university hospital. After I graduated I had to have spinal surgery due to a bad car accident, so didn't get a full time job until 6 months later. I have worked temporary positions at two hospitals and now I am finally getting a permanent position😊 my mom is a RN at one of the 3 hospitals in the health system and I was born at one of them 👍

But currently, I work for a major NYS Psych hospital in one of their outpatient clinics... I work with EVERYONE... Schizophrenia, Personality Disorders, Addiction, dually diagnosed, criminals, Sex offenders/pedophiles, etc... At night, I work 2 nights a week with drunk/alcohol soley, or mental health. We have a Geriatric population in my clinic too

Yet they sure help with getting any and all illness out of your body. 2years ago my husband developed an infection in his brain (almost killed him) and thanks to the meds in the picc line that infection left his entire body in 2 months! It could have been so much worse.

Last summer, I had an unexpected major neck surgery that I am thankful was fixable and the same drs that performed the surgery 20 yrs ago, joined forces to save me again. @palmtree30 My surgeon may be the one.. My base of my brain slips out of the bottom of my skull. My Neurosurgeon is SUPER experienced, and fused and fixed my chiari malformation. He specializes in many avenues of this. He put a rod in my neck in my cervical chiari. I have syrongilomyleia and things I can't spell related to my neck and back. Please check out. Dr. Jeffrey Wisoff in NYC He is the REAL deal. I was born with rare issues Nothing scares this man, and he is fabulous

@palmtree30 Thank you for sharing your story. I can relate to the breathing issues as well. With undiagnosed but apparent sleep apnea and the nasal passages of an infant., makes it difficult. I always have trauma with anesthesia and intubation. I am happy you have support of family and friends. Keeps it more upbeat. Add me to your list 😉💕

@palmtree30 Yes.. It was nutty.. I had to have my rod in my neck removed after it started peekung through skin after 20 years! I was in hospital for a week, had reconstruction to the scalp etc and went home with an IV too. Was out of work 10 weeks at main job, 6 months at other. Still healing. Then had to deal with kudney stuff to boot, but that was quicker.. What Is yor name? Lol. I see initials only💕💕

@palmtree30 Nice to "meet" you.. Ahh yes.. I hear you on the scammers. So far, I am healing better than he expected and faster.. Lol. I am good at healing. Lol. Luckily, the rod in my neck could stay out, but the fear was that my skin infection infiltrated, blood, bone, muscle, etc, and much was removed. Thank you! I have a follow up appt tomorrow. I do have added numbness, but rach surgery brings me there too.. I am grateful, in any event. Xoxo.

He laughed and warned me not to much too fast bc normally, I do, but I will follow his directions.. I go back in 6 months ... Lol.. Thank you! How are you feeling?

@palmtree30 We must have cross wrote.. Yes.. I wake up with headaches often stemming from breathing issues, the way I lay on pillow. Also have days at a time my back goes out in the lower lumbar. The only area without a rod. I have had facial reconstruction work due to my maxiofacial diagnosis, Crouzons Syndrome, so I get some aches everywhere. Especially when the weather changes.. Lol. Glad the machine helps!
