howitwasvintage @raravanis227 Hello there! This is called a Peacock chair, but it’s also referred to as a Manila or Philippine chair also. It was believed to have been originally created from Rattan by prisoners in the Philippines in as early as the 1600’s. They became very popular in the early to mid 20th century in the U.S.
