clarissairvine I'm looking for pair cutoff Levi's 501 buttonfly , not high waisted..? I'm a size 4 regularly. Not so sure about sizing when it comes to these vintage shorts

the_posh_prof @clarissairvine Hi! I list my vintage Levi's based on the modern size they'll best fit so you'd want to look for a size 27. I don't have any at the moment but can tag you when I list that size! Most vintage 501s are going to be mid-high-waisted because that's the vintage men's fit of the 501. They typically have a 10.5" or longer front rise.

the_posh_prof @clarissairvine one other thing tho: I like to wear my 501 cutoffs lower on my hips so I will sometimes look for a slightly larger waist size. That's always an option to avoid the high waist look too!

anniemonarch I just purchased the Levi 501's in "real" size 30. I had a store back on the east coast and specialized in them oh so long ago! I'm glad Ivan still find a good pair with great color and fade. I can't wait to get them!! I usually take a 28/29 in today's jeans, but hoping these will be like the REAL boyfriend jeans. impeachtrump Hi, I just received the Levi button flies (super nice packing) I tried them in & they are really big i want the over size look but this is crazy! I went by your specs that these would fit a 28-29 that would be perfect. The tag says 33 and they are is it possible you could exchange them for me as it seems you have an inventory please let me know

the_posh_prof @impeachtrump The tag says 33 (noted in listing) but all vintage Levi’s jeans run sizes small.That’s why I list the modern size that the jeans work best for AND also provide the measurements in inches so shoppers can check prior to purchase.Yours fit a modern size 28/29 based on their measurements & try-on by that size model. I’m sorry they don’t fit as you want but unfortunately Poshmark doesn’t facilitate returns.If you list them to resell let me know-I’ll share the listing with my followers!

the_posh_prof @impeachtrump @impeachtrump Hi—I just noticed your original comment day the tag says “33” but I just checked the original listing and the jeans you purchased from me should be a “31” on the tag. It’s possible there was a mix up in inventory. If your jeans don’t look exactly like the listing photos and they say 33 in tag instead of 31 you should “open a case” with Posh instead of “accepting”....

the_posh_prof @impeachtrump You’ll be able to upload photos of the jeans and state that tag reads different than tag in photos. I’ll be able to see the photos as well. If that’s the case then the inventory mix up is definitely a mistake on my end and Poshmark should grant a return for you! If that’s what happened I most definitely apologize—it’s a rare occurrence but I’m human! I have to be cautious when people want to return “just because” they don’t like fit—but if it is my mistake I want to make it right!
