thwelshbohemian @brownsandals no worries, I do that all the time. Those are actually made by my friend. I have a bunch more I need to list for her. I make headpieces, I have a few listed. I also have some anklets and hand pieces there.

brownsandals @bubblegoldfish Yeah, I've had no luck with etsy. I'm selling at a christmas craft show next weekend though, so hopefully I will sell a lot there!

thwelshbohemian @brownsandals its just too hard to get the exposure on etsy. If people search for a headpiece 500 will come up before mine, so tour stuff just doesn't get seen.

brownsandals @bubblegoldfish Agreed. The etsy market is already saturated. Plus I've learned that half of selling something sometimes as an artist is selling yourself. People really like to see the person who made what they're buying.

brownsandals @bubblegoldfish I've had jewelry on here for a while but haven't sold anything. I think my prices are higher than most people go for, but because poshmark takes a higher percentage than most sites and because of the time and money I put in to some of these pieces, it's hard to lower them a whole lot on here.

thwelshbohemian @brownsandals that might be true about the prices but I think you also need more followers for greater exposure. I'm up to almost 5000 and you definitely see a difference in sales. Also posh parties are good to meet more people. People will deffo lowball you but just stick to your guns and if they want it they'll pay.

brownsandals @kmcnett Hehe :) I've still never tried it, but you really have to watch out here sometimes because it's so commonplace that people don't always think to tell you if they've put it in the homemade cookie they just gave you ;) I once took a bite of a rice Krispy treat that could have knocked me out for 3 days if I hadn't asked what the odd taste in it was!

infinitamagna @brownsandals Hi. Sorry I couldn't answer your question about the nose ring on my previous listing. It is from India and probably inexpensive metal. It is adjustable but very cute and a lot of people in LA are using it. I had to relist it because I clicked delete by mistake. If I end up getting another one in the future I will just send it to you as a gift, ok.

brownsandals @wellthereisthat I typically use baby shampoo (low sulfates) and a fairly natural conditioner. Then either coconut oil or aloe very gel in the ends right after a shower. Other than that, no products, just air dry. ☺
