tasumpter91185 @cozyandcotton I re-measured, and at it's widest point it's 12" ( I had 11" originally) I definitely would classify this as a solid, spacious medium size bag. I just experimented and placed my phone, keys, large wallet, coin purse, small cosmetic case, and my nail care case inside and still had some room for more. Plus you do have that ADDITIONAL fold over flap compartment for more stuff. Hope this helps! let me know if you have any more questions!

chiarashannon Hi! Thank you for the purchase of the Free People belts. I’m so sorry, but the pink belt was damaged on my way to ship 😞 It now has fading in a small part of the underside as I tried to spot clean. I didn’t feel right shipping based on the listing NWOT without disclosing this so I decided to cancel. If you still want the set, I can do a better price, let me know.
