lindyhiphop @all4designer she is a shiba inu. But she is a long hair. It's a recessive trait that pops up occasionally in the breed so they look a bit fluffier than typical shibas. She is very snuggable. Your Bear is so cute! How big is he? It's always hard to tell with all the fur. I love the spitz look of these breeds.

houseofsequins Ahhh!! I was thinking it was a shiba but with the furry face I thought it was a chow mix! I am love with how happy shibas always look. Bear is a chubby one. He's picked up weight he was 36 and now he's 40. He's well loved lol. When I show people pics and they see in person they always think he's gonna be 10lbs

lindyhiphop @all4designer oh wow! Kit is only 15 or so. She is only months but I think the shiba females usually max out around 18. My Instagram is lindyhiphop and I've got more picks on there. When we got her at 4 months she was literally a little 7lb fluff ball. It was crazy. It was impossible not to squee every time we touched her. Do keeshonds shed a lot?

houseofsequins Aw I was the same way when I got bear. I couldn't stop squeezing him saying he's just so puffy and soft! I still carry him around like when he was a puppy. He loves it lol. He acts like a child and wraps his arms and legs around me. He doesn't seem to shed as much as people think he would he does only after he gets groomed. I guess all the loose fur.

lindyhiphop @all4designer yeah kit only sheds twice a year. So the 2 weeks twice a year suck but the rest of the time, there's nothing which is surprising. I wish we were closer, we could have a fur-baby play date!

methodclothe I know! I don't have any "real life friends" on posh so I totally get that! I don't have a travel buddy. Ill probably be driving alone. Someone talked to me about needing a roommate but I haven't heard from her. All the comments on the pm_editor post seemed like everyone had friends they would be going with. I felt like the awkward one saying will someone be my friend lol.

khkdomer That is definitely true re Molly. Though I think she may be suffering from some kind of canine post-traumatic stress disorder from all of the Teddy drive-by swattings! The other night, Teddy was grooming Molly by laying one paw on top of Molly's head to keep her still and then licking Molly's face and ears. It was so cute, except for the fact that you could see the whites of Molly's eyes because she was SO freaked out! LOL I think @vacat @blackcherry7 and @andine would have gotten a kick out of seeing it! :)

lindyhiphop @nattycat I found it is actually cheaper through a legit breeder than through a puppy mill/website. There is also a couple of rescue operations in CA. I know there is a northern cal shiba rescue based in San Jose (they have a Facebook page). Also our breeder runs the rescue in Ohio. You can go to petfinder dot com. That is legit. I am sure southern cal must have a rescue group also.

camposcc I am going through the same thing. I contacted the headquarters and they have been so helpful. I sent out all these photos and they declared being pretty positively sure. Next so they can give in writing is if I sent them the bag. Point is contact the company 😘
