Hi!! Thanks for taking the time to click! I am 32 from the Philly area and have lived in DC for 10+ years. I LOVE to shop & am becoming obsessed with Poshmark. My husband is "strongly urging" me to pair down my wardrobe. I LOVE a sale, "the hunt", and know a great buy/deal when I see one...and will jump at it even if I do not really need it 😁 this is a problem (apparently)

mcgregor61 Thank you for the skirt. I just left the DC area 2.5 years ago after 20 years. Congrats on your weight loss and engagement. I know the feeling as I went from a 14 to now a 10. Thank God for Poshmark as I am replacing my wardrobe with essentials! I am also in meeting planning. Now I need to take the time and post many of my "former" clothes so I don't wear them again. lol. lmichinock @mcgregor61 that is exactly why I started selling...so I could not just go back in to that size. I literally have/had 4 sizes in my drawers and closets!! Are you from DC? We are in the Cap Hill area of town

ameonnanolan can you explain to me how poshmark works? if someone buys something what do I do /pay for?

lmichinock Sure @ameonnanolan I will try me best to clearly explain 😃 A person will purchase or item or give you an offer on your item (you can counter this offer, accept it, or decline it). Once you item is purchased you will receive an email from Poshmark notifying you and there will be a pre-paid, pre-addresses label for USPS that you can print so shipping is paid for by the buyer! You then package your item however you would like.

lmichinock @ameonnanolan (continued) Poshmark is a fun community of woman who love to write thank you notes to each other and some even include a small gift with their items! Do not feel the need to do this but I would encourage you to write a little thank you note (on a piece of paper or note card) & neatly package the item in tissue paper or however you think will beat protect your item from possible shipping elements and environment.

lmichinock @ameonnanolan Once the buyer receives her package she goes on to Poshmark and "accepts" the item and can rate your transaction as well. The funds are then released from Poshmark to you!
