Hi there! My name is Reine. I tend to think of every outfit as a costume and costuming is my jam! You can see me channeling Clint, Coco and Booga in recent events and me preparing make up for a late 60's Twiggy in the last photo. I have two fur babies and one of the two legged variety, a lovely human inside and out, who brings me much joy! winsomewardrobe @prelovedworks never thought about that - but I have always wanted to be a costume/prop maker :) I've always made things like curtains, upholstery and such, but I started making clothes and costumes when I had Mason - we always had complimenting costumes every year. She and I have both won every costume contest through the years because I make awesome costumes :)

She had hair past her butt and one day decided she wanted to shave her head so she put it in a pony tail and cut it off, then my boyfriend brought his razor over and shaved her to stubble. was pretty amazing. now the middle part is longer and she's ready to grow it out again!

karint She is a lucky girl to have a mom like you and I have a feeling she knows that...I'm pretty sure my mom never forgave me for shaving half my hair off or any of the home dye jobs I gave myself. I think that was part of the appeal though, at the time ;)

rhain007 @reinem I always got made fun of for my name lol, they used to call me Mt Rainer (I grew up in WA state so it was funny to everyone but me), Rainer Beer, rainbow trout, Rainbow Brite that one I actually liked haha! It was mainly my 5 brothers who did it, but kids at school were awful too lol. Now I just go by Rhain instead of Rhainna. I'm beginning to like Rhainna more now as I get older.

I agonized about what I should wear for seemingly hours - he showed up directly from work - dirty, with holes burned in the front of his shirt from welding a piece he was working on. I was mortified. He was so witty and genuine I quickly didn't even notice.

winsomewardrobe @nvrs ok - first tips about listing items: If you aren't shy about modeling - good modeled pics are really compelling when browsing. second choice is a dress form - I like to see how things will fit. That said, I have seen some excellent, super compelling flat lays too. I personally don't like a really cluttered cover pic so simple pics on a plain background with no words or embellishments on the pic. Lighting is important so make sure to have as much natural light as possible...

winsomewardrobe @nvrs my preference is to have 50 or less listings at once. I have twice that right now and feel like it's too much to scroll through. Price as you normally would - people will like it even if outside their budget in hopes it will drop later. Then when you have some interest you can lower price by at least 10% and everyone who has "liked it" will get a notice that you've lowered the price. I often build in a little haggle room so I can lower a little to offset shipping for the buyer

winsomewardrobe @nvrs the most important part of Posh is sharing. I cannot this stress enough. Browse closets or the parties and share the a bunch of stuff out of each closet. Especially those that have similar taste as you do. When you share, those people will browse your closet and share and if they like what they see they will also follow you. Many people will also follow you if you follow them.

I usually share my stuff around the noon and evening parties. And then share my items to a party as they fit in the theme.

Sometimes people just haven't educated themselves on what is and isn't PC. Occasionally, if a posher is newish I will let them know. Every time I have done so, it has been well received as they were unaware and remove the items upon finding it could hurt their shares from others.

winsomewardrobe @annick100 I don't think your prices are too high. Sales slumps can be frustrating! Sometimes I can go for a week or two with no sales, then all the sudden a bunch of sales all at once. I honestly can't figure out why - I don't really do anything different and even when I have bundle deals or drop prices it doesn't seem to make a difference.

winsomewardrobe @annick100 I think getting your stuff out there as much as possible is good - that happens not only by sharing your own stuff, but most people will share back when you share. I don't know if you tend to share at the same times every day, but maybe try sharing a little here and there throughout the day instead of all at once - that way you can get in front of different sets of people.

He had an installation at Burning Man many years ago and I loved it so much my boyfriend at the time bought a couple of his prints and framed them for me for christmas. Funny I never thought about them being Giger-esque before - but they certainly are! Explains why I fell in love with the installation at the time - I love Giger :)

sejoursouvenir Hey Renee! I have a random question. You know the whole closet clear-out thing that poshmark does once in a while? So I just don't get how it's different from a regular case of dropping your price 10%. Doesn't anytime you lower price by 10 percent the customer gets discounted shipping? Thanks!

winsomewardrobe @livefree24 hi Rachel 😊 as far as I know the only time it's always discounted at price drop is during a closet clear out. It does, however, give discounted shipping randomly the rest of the time. It always sends out an email to anyone that likes the item when you drop price but doesn't always give a shipping discount. winsomewardrobe @rock_rollkitten I've never tried trading, and not totally sure how to do it here, but I would be open to that. I'm a little concerned a 0 would be too small though. Can you give armpit to armpit measurements? and, if it's not too weird, what is your cup size? those 2 things should help me determine if it would be too tight across my chest as well :)

And me...lately I'm not sure what size I am! I know that's no help...I used to be a 34 C, but I've been gaining weight (ugh). I measure 35" around the bust and 31" underneath...Xx

rock_rollkitten @reinem It measures 18" across the bust from seam to seam. Normally that's plenty big, and that's huge for a 0...but the shirt isn't cut well, and while it fits with my arms by my sides, when I put them behind me the buttons gap. We probably both need a size 2...Xx🌺
