I have a question: How do you become a Posh Ambassador and what are the benefits of being one? By the way, I have already made 2 purchases! Can’t wait to start selling! 💛

seafoamsafari @miami_chica hi! So excited for you! My only regret with poshmark is that I didn’t start sooner! A poshmark ambassador was previously called “suggested user.” So you will basically get more followers, but it doesn’t necessarily get you more sales. The extra traffic is good though.

seafoamsafari @miami_chica if you go under your account, you will see your posh stats — I’m not sure exactly how it will appear on yours — it will tell you there what you need to do to make posh ambassador status. It’s like 5,000 shares, I think a minimum of 5 love notes given and a certain amount of sales and new poshers shared.

seafoamsafari @miami_chica I see also that you need a minimum of 50 listings. You may want to invest in a mannequin to display your items. Also make sure to be descriptive with all possible measurements and any flaws. Answer questions in a timely manner, ship fast, and just be polite and communicative! seafoamsafari @miami_chica yes, please reach out anytime! Just double check — I have sold it accidentally in the past but I’m not sure that perfume is actually allowed to be sold on poshmark. Double check the FAQ. I believe it can’t be shipped priority mail or something like that. But congrats and please stay in touch!

miami_chica @seafoamsafari it was described as in “Excellent Condition”, “Only worn twice” but that was not the case. It had stains. It also taught me that when I doing, ask for more pictures. The seller already apologized. She said she didn’t see the stains and that she is new to Poshmark. It’s just common sense if you ask me! She told me to send it back to her but I have to wait for Poshmark to approve the complaint so I can get a refund.

seafoamsafari @miami_chica oh that’s frustrating! At least she sounds reasonable about it. I have had a couple of bad purchases where items were damaged and poshmark has always come through for me. Yes, just ask all the questions you can — and now you know in your listings to be as descriptive as possible - it will save you lots of frustration in the long run!

seafoamsafari @miami_chica a closet is your whole account so to speak, and”boutique” describes only items that are NWT and being sold for the first time on poshmark 😊 you can buy items wholesale on poshmark or elsewhere and list them as NWT/boutique if you make the criteria. There should be a prompt if you go to list an item and click on boutique
