aketts @colorbuff ok question. Do the buyers have a rating system on sellers and what if you buy something is there a time limit on how long it should take to get the product? I understand mail can be slow but if the seller takes there time shipping the product and you've paid for the product? Can you cancel it?

colorbuff Buyers can rate sellers according to a 5 star system but that rating is now visible to other buyers (or sellers). Buyers can also leave what is referred to as a "love note" for a seller if they have left a 5 star review. A love note is a positive review of the seller in words. You can tell your seller why you are happy with the transaction. Unlike ratings, love notes are visible to other members. You can see them by clicking on the word "About" below the person's profile photo.

colorbuff There is no guarantees in terms of how long it will take for you to receive your item(s). But there is a time limit for sellers to ship the purchased item(s). That limit is 7 days. After 7 days, if the item has not been shipped, the transaction can be cancelled. A seller is expected to ship items quickly however, preferably withing 2 days. Statistically, half of all purchases on Poshmark are shipped withing 2 days.

colorbuff That having been said, if your item got lost in the mail or could not be delivered to you within a reasonable delay, Poshmark would likely refund your purchase. Shipping has been slower during the pandemic. It''s a little bit like what happens during the holidays. But you can follow your parcel by using the tracking number provided to you. I hope you have found my answers useful.

aketts @colorbuff I totally get how shipping is slow during the pandemic and people do get busy. But I would hate to wait 2 months for package being shipped. Sooo there is a rating system but not always visible?

colorbuff The ratings are not visible to other Poshmark members. Only to Poshmark Admiinstration. But "Love Notes" are visible to all. I don't think you have to worry about waiting 2 months for your parcel. The longest I have waited for a parcel during the pandemic is 11 days.

colorbuff It is also noteworthy that Poshmark Ambassadors like myself are held to high standards in order to preserve our ambassador status. This includes shipping quickly.

colorbuff One last thing. I mentioned that you can cancel if the seller has not shipped the item within a week. But you should also know that you have up to 3 hours to cancel your purchase after making it.
