floreshinyshoes Hello Cathetine, the jacket says 100 % leathe that's why I didn't wrote suede I am pregnant and no one smokes here (impossible), the clothes are second hand and this jacket specially is dry clean only, for the price I sold it I wasn't able to dry clean it, I use a steamer to kill all germs and bugs and clothes sanitizer when not able to clean, I hope you liked the extra gift and you can always open a case that is better that 4 stars, have a great weekend!

catherinebourci @floreshinyshoes Hello, I deleted my comments and changed the rating. I understand your point. Suede is made of leather, but the treatment and look of it is different. I like it, but i was just very surprised when i opened the box. I was not possible to tell by the picture that it was actually a suede jacket (i would have bought it anyway, but i would have prefered to know this before hand). 🙂

catherinebourci I understand that you bought it second hand, but I think the original owner of the jacket was a heavy smoker. After being enclosed in plastic in a small box for a couple of day, the smell was very intense when I opened the bag. It has been out for a while now and it still smell when you are close to it. But I know how to get the smell out without drycleaning it (just didn't have a chance to take care of it yet). 🙂

catherinebourci As a tip, if you purchase another second hand item in the future that has even a faint smell of cigarette or other type of odor, no need to dry clean. Just seal it in a plastic bag with an odor absorber (ex. box of baking soda) for 3-4 days and the smell will be totally gone.🙂 Works for any type of material. floreshinyshoes @catherinebourci Thanks a lot, I deal with this because basically nothing I sell is mine of my own closet, I only meant to tell you because I imagine opening a package and being like 😑😑 is not nice I didn't want to leave a bad impression. I'm sorry for that and I will try some more tips.

sportyredsue I am really sad that you only gave this jacket a 3 star rating. I am a large and this jacket was too tight on me or I would have kept this gorgeous jacket. Sizes are hard to judge, I ordered a large Danier leather coat on poshmark and it is super large on me, but I still gave it a 5 star rating because it was a beautiful coat. Turns out I wear a medium in Danier.
