silverdragon1 I bought a teddy ruxpin bear and the ad said that it all worked. But I paid almost $100 for this bear and he does not fully work. Only the tape deck does. I like that the tape deck works but for the price and the ad, I would have expected the mouth at least to move.

marillion42 @silverdragon1 it works! I tested it again before shipping it and it works beutifully. PLEASE READ THE INSTRUCTION BOOKLET COMPLETELY CAREFULLY AND FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS. Put in fresh, good quality batteries (energizer or duracell and make sure they are fresh!)

marillion42 ...when you try it with the new batteries, if the eyes and mouth still don't move in sync with the story and song, then try to gently change position to lying on its back and then if it starts working you can gently sit him up.

marillion42 ...I really want my customers to be happy but I also feel it's unfair to leave negative feedback and comnents without FIRST trying to discuss with the seller Because when you try those suggestions if it works (which it did before I sent it) then you have your item as it should be but I'm left with your negative feedback....

marillion42 ...Please understand that I really appreciate your purchase and I want you to be happy with your purchase. I hope you have not tinkered or tampered with it, assuming you haven't then please try my suggestions and let me know how it as for how much you spent, there's no need for hyperbole $76 plus shipping is substantial. But for the novelty of that kind of take home hand held animatronic toy, I believe it is a very decent price (agreed, only if working)...

marillion42 ...this was a revolutionary technology for this type of item when it was invented. this one was not a particularly early model but it is vintage, still in box with all accessories (book, cassette, instruction manual) and uses the same technology in which the cassette tracks provide not only audio but data to move the eyes and mouth in synch with the story and singing. not easy to find..

marillion42 ...it is not a normal cassette player or a normal cassette even though it looks like one. Sorry for the long rant but it worked when I sent it and I made substantial effort to pack it well so that it wouldn't get damaged in shipping. PLEASE TRY (1) NEW FRESH GOOD BATTERIES (2) READ MANUAL IN FULL (3) TRY TO CHANGE FROM SITTING TO LYING OR LYING TO SITTING (HANDLE GENTLY).
