Hey Posh Fam! Welcome to Jade Lemonade Thrift. So happy to have you here! My name is NOT Jade, despite the shop name... it's Hailey. Why "Jade Lemonade" then, you ask? Well... aside from rhyming and having a nice ring to it, the name actually has a deeper meaning. Ever heard the saying "When life gives you lemons, make lemonade"? To me, translated, that means when life gives you something good, weather it be a stroke of luck or an opportunity, you take it and run with it. You do something good. You make lemonade! Jade is my daughter's nickname. She is the ultimate symbol of good in my life and she's also incredibly lucky! She was born 16 weeks premature and endured more than most of us will in a lifetime. I watched my teeny tiny, one and a half pound fragile little girl grow into the beautiful, thriving young lady she is today. For me, thrifting and resale is my way of taking my good luck and doing something good with it. Resale has given me independence while being present for my daughter. I have saved hundreds of pounds of clothing from landfill. I also really enjoy repairing damaged items so they don't end up discarded. I feel lucky to be able to share my finds with all of you! You'll notice a mix of wild prints and basic staple pieces in my closet. I hope you are able to find something you love! From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU for supporting my small business.
