jessicaflaman @nicole_ce hi nicole, i have one question. im going to be selling clothes. i see that buyers can return back the items for any faulty, damaged items. how do the seller protect themselves with this? my items that will be posted are all brand new and no damage. what if the buyer just decided to ruin the dress and say the dress is ruined and seller is at fault...

nicole_ce @jessicaflaman usually Poshmark is on the purchasers side of things. As long as you have a detailed description & photos it’s not too often that claims are opened against you. I have had this happen. A buyer opened a claim on one of my items. Poshmark approved the return & the item they returned to me was extremely damaged and not in the same condition as when I sent it. I contacted Poshmark, they refunded me for the damaged item. In this case both buyers and seller were refunded.

nicole_ce @jessicaflaman As long as your descriptions are detailed & photos are clear I wouldn’t worry about it. I’ve sold 358 items and have only had 2 cases opened against me. Both when I first started. my descriptions were lacking. I had 2 high end sweaters that had shrinkage I was unaware of, I had bought them second hand. Unaware of their history. I had never bought anything new from this brand before as it was far out of my budget and was unaware of what the items should’ve looked like.
