rianar Hi Jessica, thanks for the ❤️on the coat, but I’m here just to say that I love your art work. I love doing art but have no skill, so abstract it is!…lol. You mentioned that you use a medium with your acrylics to make it a fabric paint?…have ever you tried using Inktense pencils/blocks?

brazil1982 @rianar oh thank you! no I have not tried them. have you used them? If they work, it would be great for some specific detail. I just started painting on jean jackets the past year or so as a canvas. I love it. I was going to start on leather jackets as well soon.

rianar @brazil1982 hi, yes, I have used them on various fabrics from silks to canvas. Google ‘painting fabric with Inktense’ - lots of info/videos on it. To get crisp lines with very little bleeding I use aloe vera gel (the 100% pure) rather than water and when it dries there is no residue. Then you just heat treat and you’re done. I have even machine washed several items and had very little fading. I wish I knew how to send a pic of them on here (I’ll try to figure that out).
