Meet your Posher, Jessica

Hi! I'm Jessica. I’m a small scale, yet very selective, Arabian horse breeder. I have had Arabians most of my life. I a Mom to 7 (yes…7!) We live rurally on an island on the west coast of British Columbia on Coast Salish Territory. I am the owner and operator of an Indigenous Therapeutic Farm where I do day-camps, private in home care/Farm Homeschool, therapeutic riding and equine sessions, outdoor and nature education. It’s also where I my make my own farm fresh Luxury Self Care Products called the Bennie Farmacy. I am a mother to 3 children with special needs. My passion to help heal and serve others in my community, has led me to use my gifts and skill sets to continuously expand my knowledge and education. I love to learn new things! Even though I have a “modern approach” and am educated in trauma informed care, the heart of my approach is deeply rooted in culture. I’m super excited to join PoshMark and share something I’m extremely passionate about- sustainable fashion! Wether that’s buying from a fair trade company, low impact company, preloved, local, or shopping from small businesses. supporting slow fashion, and keeping clothes out of the landfill is never a bad thing ;) doesn’t hurt to get a little $ back doing it too!
