Hi! I'm Kathleen. Some of my favorite brands are Max Mara, j jill, Ralph Lauren and any other top of the line designer who offers clothes 2x and up and size 12 (2" max heel) shoes. Anything pure cashmere, silk, linen, leather/suede gets my attention. My wardrobe is restricted to black, white, gray, ivory and beige with a few "wildcard" colors thrown in. I have updated the measurements on both Talbots Silk Pants (Tan & Pale Baby Pink colors) Waist: 38 inches, Hip: 48 inches & Inside Seam Length: 17 inches. There is a Talbots Long Sleeve Jacket to go with them, the measurement are: Shoulder Length: 18/36 inches, Length of Sleeve: 26 inches, Length of Jacket: 28 Inches, Hand of Sleeve: 6 inches. kmlake2019 How to tell if a fabric is silk or a silky feeling manmade fiber... . Lilysilk has a great blog post on this issue which I will post. But, the quickest way to tell is to pull off a few fibers and set them alight. Real silk is a protein fiber and will burn like human hair does (quickly burning, balling up and producing a stink).
