For me, I find that what sold the past two years — Nike Athleta, is dead for me now…it’s all J. Crew, Boden and anything from Stitchfix. Of course, I’m still stuck with Athleta and Fabletics…🥴. Oh well…
Luckily, I live just outside of DC and there is so much good stuff here….

@rbd257 I use a very old system, but it does what I need…doesn’t auto return shares, but it will mass return shares whenever. Also auto sends offers if you set it to…It’s called ClosetPilot…it may be cheaper than others…developer answers questions, no big system.
Cool that you’re a dancer too!
The white background takes another 10 mins, but try it on some you’ve already done and relist…see if it helps…?

Have a look on Marketplace or if a local store is going out of business so you can try something cheap and if it doesn’t work well, you didn’t waste a lot of money! I hear that arms and legs get on the way so maybe a dress form?

@dnceteacher Never got into ballroom dancing, except as a spectator, but I love it. When I was a little kid my mom sent me to dancing school for ballet & tap and I got hooked on dancing. In my teens & 20s (the doo-wop era) I was always on the dance floor. Mostly jitterbug (now called swing). I miss it so much.

Only to doctors and hospital. Can't walk without my rollator. I'm afraid we met too late, but thanks for the invite. I can still dream about it.❤❤

@more4u123 Wow, three weeks! If you don't have some walks planned, I used Rick Steves Audio Guide's three walks and they were great! There is some construction in the city for the Olympics, but most is done. You'll have MUCH better weather than we did -- was cold, windy and cloudy :(

Hi Kathy. We are going to be in the Washington, D.C. area in October for about a few days. Looking at cities outside of D.C. for better rates, free parking and good metro access. Mid-priced hotels (Best Western, Holiday Inn, Hilton, etc). Don't know the neighborhoods. Any Alexandria recommendations near the metro? Thanks. Nancy

@more4u123 Hi Nancy! There's an Embassy Suites right in the center of Old Town next to the King Street Metro that's $144/night! There's an Extended Stay Suites America just up the hill from the Springfield/Franconia Metro that's about $136/night. I have to put in exact dates to get exact amounts. I live near the Franconia Metro and teach ballroom dance near the King Street Metro. The problem in the DC area is that even outside of DC in No. Va., hotels are price for the government traveler.

Because of the Pentagon, Ft. Belvoir (military hospital), and all the government offices like the Patent Office etc. The two I listed above were the least expensive I could find, but prices may/will change depending on the exact dates.

There's a nice Hilton that's more expensive near the Metro and Springfield Town Center (restaurants) that is walkable to Metro, but there's also a little bus that goes to/from. Let me know when you'll be here!

Thank you! Since I retired I've been traveling a lot. Will have to slow down a bit in the next couple of years. I'll create a bundle for us so I can let you know when I'll be gone...next, is cruising the coast of Norway in March hoping to see the Northern Lights! @terrilynspurse when someone buys, they pay Poshmark using whatever payment method PM accepts. Posh then sends you a label that you can use on ANY priority mail package. Maximum at the 7.95 rate is 5 lbs but you can send up to 10, but that’s expensive…

@terrilynspurse Yes, those are scams. Be careful never to send any info to anyone via email or other contact info. PM will protect you and your sale, but if you go off the platform, they can't. If someone really does purchase, PM will receive the money, notify you and send you a label. If someone just says in the comments that they bought it, it doesn't count until Posh says so. They really do have lots of layers of protection. What did the supposed buyer say?

@terrilynspurse Oh, and I like that sweatshirt. Just hit edit in the upper right corner, go down to the box for category and change it. I was looking at your items and I'm sure you're just listing stuff out of your closet, but you might want to add the brand in the "brand" box and a few more details like the size of the bag etc.. I get really detailed because I'm listing stuff I've not worn or owned so you don't have to go quite that far, but if you want some ideas, look at my listings.

@jaxshadow I am so sorry! I do use a very simple bot...it's old but it shares. And I'm afraid I did that...I kept hitting the share button today because it wasn't showing me the window I expected...likely my wifi is slow due to the ice and snow. Luckily, the computer turned off in the middle of yours -- there were many more coming--am SO sorry! I'm fine, thank you for being concerned...just terminally dumb. :D

@dnceteacher It returns double and triple shares. It could be a setting, did you try something new? I unblocked so we can chat I didnt realize blocking blocks more than the bot. I didnt mean to do that to you, we have been share buddies a long time. I just had to stop the bot from filling up my notifications. Let me know when fixed and I will share again. Thanks

@jaxshadow I think it has to do with my wifi starting/stopping while T-Mobile is building out their 5G. Unfortunately, every time it restarts, the bot starts over. It returns shares so the only way to guarantee that it never happens again, is to stop sharing. I hate so much to do that, but it does look like we have two ways of doing things that just don't mesh. I am so sorry, we have been friends so long!

It could also be when I have more than one window open and share from both - happens when I list...but I think that's the only way...With all the lives and giveaway shows in my feed, I end up using the specific tabs and set notifications so I get emails when I have a sale or message or offer, so I rarely see it when that
happens. Please don't share anything of mine (because my bot will share back) but I'll share your stuff manually. Best wishes to you!

@dnceteacher Keep in touch. I will wait a week and experiment like I will do 1 share and see how many your bot returns. Then you will know exactly whats happening. Its a setting of some kind. Lets see? I hate all these give a ways and shows from people I dont know in my feed. i have complained to poshmark. All they do is give me a $5 credit and say block them
