Meet your Posher, Keita

Hi, I’m Keita. An artist and mama of three. Living in the mountains of BC, Canada. My artwork is heavily inspired by nature and her cycles. I love to explore how spiritual experience and human emotion relate to nature in my paintings. I’m constantly playing with the juxtaposition of geometry and realism alongside abstract forms to capture the feeling of a subject or a moment. I believe that beauty calms the mind and that art ought to infuse and enhance our experience of everyday life. Whenever I’m not painting in my studio, I can be found pulling funny faces and tickling my three homeschooling kiddos, drinking tea with my sisters, or walking in the trees. Thanks for stopping by!
