To answer your question, sharing others closets won't change the order of the items in the closet. It just exposes the items to more viewers in PM's feeds. ps- love RI coastline, I'm a Cape Cod girl. ontheharbour @presentables CapeCod is great. I'm a Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket fan, too. Thanks for the explanation. One more question for the day: where did you buy your clear plastic shipping label pouches? I have been looking for the very same. There is an office supply store on Posh but he's sold out of small quantities and Amazon seems to sell a minimum of $200. (I'm still looking through the results, though.) I'd appreciate it if you'd share your intel! Thanks again.

presentables Oh gosh, glad you asked and didn't buy anything. I get the pouches for free on the USPS website. They are called SMALL CUSTOM DECLARATION POUCHES (FORM 2976ES).You have to search a little deep in the free supply section & much easier to find on the computer website rather than the phone app, but they're there, so useful & the mail carrier delivers them to the house. presentables @ontheharbour you can order the pouches for free on the USPS website (I find the computer site is easier than the phone app). They're called "Small Custom Declaration Pouches (form 2976ES)" & they're in the free supplies section. If you have an account, the mail carrier delivers them in about a week. Hope that helps ! ontheharbour Hi again, I wondered if you have time for a question? I followed the advice of another user who follows a lot of users (high 6 figures) and has mid-6 figures of users following her. I went to the person's store and followed every last one of the people on her lists, but my "following" is only about 10,000. Why didn't all the people I added get counted towards my "following" number? Many thanks for your help.

presentables @ontheharbour I wish I had the answer to that and could help. In fact, I would love to know myself. I follow other top closet’s followers when I have time and am always looking for ways to increase my followers bc it does correlate with sales. I have noticed that I do have increased traffic on my site when I do that so I think it’s worth the time but I don’t know why the count doesn’t increase.

ontheharbour I e-mailed PM customer service last night and will report back. It's strange, though, as I added a few of the Poshers you follow today, and those counted toward my Following total. Perhaps I added too many in the past couple of days? But I thought PM would notify users if that's the case and revoke following privileges for a time. Many things on PM are a mystery to me. I'll let you know what I learn!

I've learned the most from listening to you- tubers helpful hints and tricks and then seeing what works through trial and error. If you haven't already, check out the 30 minute method.

ontheharbour @presentables Hi Kirsten, not a peep from PM headquarters about the following/followers, except for the generic e-mail acknowledging receipt of mine. I'll try them again in a couple of days. One thing I did notice was that when I went back in to the following list of someone whose list I had already followed (six figures), there was a whole new list of users to follow! Perhaps they don't make the larger lists available all at once? Very strange.

ontheharbour @presentables What is the 30 minute method? I came across a "Tips for New Users" posting by josephine052270 that had some useful info. I've been following her following advice. I know you're not new, but it's the first listing in her closet in case you'd like to take a peek. Someone else told me about PM Facebook groups, but I haven't found a helpful one yet.

presentables @ontheharbour Pm definitely puts a limit on how many people you can follow from someone's closet. I found after having 8000 followers, traffic increased to my closet. there is definitely an algorithm and the 30 min. method taps into that. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MBrzFau3MGg. you're doing everything right by researching & learning and you'll find your own recipe. sometimes i think i figured something out & sales are great, then crickets for a week - have yet to figure out why.

ontheharbour @presentables Thank you, that was an interesting video. I'll check out the rest of her series. I've been madly following all week, and so far I have 7,830 followers and am following 21,953. At the beginning I only had a couple of thousand each. A LOT of people who followed me back shared quite a bit of my closet, so periodically I've been sharing their items, too from a list I made. I figured it's worth it because it's polite and they'll (hopefully) remember me so they'll share my things again.

People keep putting 1 item in a bundle. I'm not really sure what to do with that. Why don't they make an offer instead? Or is putting an item in a bundle a way of asking me to offer them my best price? Many thanks.

presentables @ontheharbour When folks put items in a bundle, they are usually looking for you to make an offer. I find I get a lot of sales from that. I also usually send people an offer proactively when they like something by putting it into a bundle. I hope that helps.

ontheharbour @presentables Yes, it does. I marked down a lot of summer merchandise yesterday. I'm not sure I quite understand bundling a $15 bathing suit? I can see why it's better than sellers making an offer to likers, as with bundling we don't HAVE to absorb some of the shipping cost. Thanks again for the help!
