muchstufftpf @lamiszein The bag isn't authentic. The shape is wrong for a City, which is what the style number indicates. The "Y" on the tag signifies a S/S 2006 bag if it was authentic. So the rivets are incorrect for an 06 bag (should have notches in them). The interior tag in an authentic bag would have black thread across the top, not red. There's no clear pic of the bale, back of zipper head or back of tag but I'm sure I would find issues with those markers as well.

muchstufftpf I can't tell due to lighting if the hardware is pewter or brass but for an 06 bag it would be aged brass.

old_and_gold @clh22969 oh wow! Have people been posting under the post? I can’t see anything! Thanks for. Ringing this to my attention. First, I can assure you it is authentic because i got it authenticated before I purchase it and I paid that much for it. Second, if it helps. Can I send it to you to get it authenticated? I am sure the lighting and other details could be much clearer in person. Thanks!

muchstufftpf Are you a member of the Purse Forum? It's free to join, if you want to you could go to the Balenciaga subforum and find the "authenticate this" thread. There are three of us who authenticate on a regular basis, and I can ask the other gals to weigh in as well. If you like, you can add pics here for me to look at as well, I'd need the back of the zipper head with the Lampo logo, the back of the interior tag, and a clear pic of the bale.

muchstufftpf I'm sorry hon but this bag is absolutely not authentic. The back of there zipper head alone would be enough, but the rivets, the tag back, the general look of the bag, are all wrong. I'm guessing the bales are kind of squared off and look coat hanger-ish. I don't know how long you've had it, do you have any recourse to go back to whoever authenticated it for you? I can give you a detailed list of the markers that prove it's fake to discuss with them.

I’ve had the back for a year now 🙁 but they assured me it’s authenticity otherwise I wouldn’t have bought it and paid 12 hundreds for it 😓
