This is all very new to me I just made this account 3 days ago I've never been on a social media site before. I just made my first Facebook page like 2 months ago to share pictures of my son...I know....it's bad! I'm sure it's probably easy but I just don't want to let my group down so I want to make sure I'm doing it right.

Hi!!! No worries. 😊You tagged me just fine! 👍 Using the "@" symbol in front of someone's username will alert them that you are directing a comment toward them. They will receive a notification. You only have to do this on listings that are not theirs. If you leave a comment on their listing, they will see it, regardless. ❤️ I hope this helps! It's a lot like Instagram, if you're familiar with that. 😘

I've kinda just been trying to figure out what I'm doing and looking on other people's pages and finding new people to follow that way...ooops! Hi Laura💞Posh can be overwhelming at 1st! Tagging someone is a way for you to have the posher either see a comment or a post/listing in a closet. For example if you hadn't tagged my name here with your question I wouldn't have seen it! You can tag someone in one of your listings or in another posher's! Stop by anytime! Laura😘💞

Lol! That was a cute message. I didn't know what tagging was either (I didn't even know what a hashtag was) so don't worry, you're not alone lol.
So, when you want to tag someone you use their username with a @ in front of it. That person will be notified that you tagged them. So, to reach me, you would do @serendipity8888.

For sharing from our share group, your group is assigned to share 10 items from every person in whatever group it is. So if it says 1/25 share group 6, you go to each person's closet in group 6. Once you have completed sharing you tag your group leader (GL) and say the group you shared and the date. My GL is Lisa so once I've completed sharing I'll tag her. Ex: @lisadraper shared group 6 on 1/25

There are a few awesome groups on Facebook that are full of other Poshers. I highly recommend joining one. They are super helpful and whenever I am confused about something, I just post a question and people are so friendly and willing to help you out. @mandapanda83 is an admin of one of them. She's awesome and extremely helpful.

@hippymama613 no worries! That's one of the coolest things about PM- we make our own hours lol. There are a lot of differ apps that you can download for free. I think Photogrid is the easiest one to use. You basically just chose a picture or two that you like and the app will let you put a background, boarder, text, stickers... I would download that app and just play around with it.

If you are looking for a particular image- Google it and save it. There really isn't a limit to your creativity. I have a few signs in my closet. So, an example is: I googled lips. Found a pic I liked and saved it to my phone. I then opened photogrid and went to photo editor. Then I chose a border, added some text and stickers. Press save and you have a post!

Hi sweetie what you do is put a bundle together so that the buyer just pays one shipping charge! If you haven't done one you just make a new listing of all of the items, and the buyer purchases that listing. If you have other questions let me know! Of course! The easiest thing to do is just google any image like "sunsets". Save it to your phone. Use the app Photogrid. Open the pic in there and on the bottom there is a text button. Then, you can write anything on top of the pic!

@nami001 hi PFF! I'm having an issue with a buyer who purchased one of my sweaters. Right after the purchase she messaged me that she remembered it's her mothers birthday and she wants to cancel the sale. She wants me to be the one to cancel it and I don't want there to be a poor reflection on my status. What should I do?

@hippymama613 Don't cancel it, have the buyer cancel it. She has 3 hours to cancel the transaction. If you were to cancel the transaction, your listing will still say sold even though the transaction didn't take place. You won't be able to "relist" the listing and would have to make a brand new listing. You don't want to do this especially if you have likes on it. Plus the "sold listing" will still be in your closet with no way to get rid of it. Have the buyer cancel since it's her mistake.

@hippymama613 I just found the listing in question and since she made an offer it's binding and she can't cancel. It's essentially a contract. There are a couple of things you can do. You could cancel the transaction & contact Posh with a snap shot of the conversation, showing proof that you're not the one who is initiating the cancellation. However, your listing will still say "sold" on it. You'll have to keep asking Posh to take off the "sold" sign so you can "relist"

it without having to create a new listing. This might take several days and you'll have to be persistent. This happened to me once but it was before the make an offer feature. A buyer said her little sister bought the item while playing with her phone. I cancelled but had to keep contacting Posh to put my listing back up. Posh assured me it wouldn't reflect badly on me but I still wanted them to make the listing active again & they did after about a week or more...

You have 7 days to send the item before Posh gives the buyer the option to cancel the transaction. Strongly encourage the buyer to contact Posh support ASAP and keep contacting them until she gets an answer. If you don't hear anything from Posh or her by like the 3rd day, you can either send it or cancel it and hope that Posh will take it off the "sold". Don't worry about it reflecting poorly on you because it won't. I

cancelled a transaction once because I didn't feel comfortable with the buyer. Her closet was full of non compliant items and I just didn't feel comfortable. My reason for cancelling I think was that I couldn't find the item. I was really conflicted on that one because I didn't want it to reflect poorly on me but I also didn't want to get dinged on my rating or get scammed too

I reached out to my mentor who told me that there are times when she too cancelled a transaction because she didn't feel comfortable with the buyer. She told me to always go with my gut feeling. Even though I canceled it didn't affect my rating with Posh. I still got the SU status and also got to host. So don't worry about that. I think your buyer is having buyer's remorse more than anything.

@hippymama613 Yea she can't cancel it once she submitted an offer and it was accepted. It's a binding contract. She has to contact Posh through the app - Postmark Support Center --> Contact Posh Support. Let her know that once she submitted an offer that was accepted it became a binding contract. Let her know that it isn't that easy to just say "oops I changed my mind, please cancel". Everything you said to her was spot on

I know what you mean. I canceled the transaction with the girl who said her little sister was playing with her phone and bought the item. I was afraid she would damage the item and ding my ratings too. Tell your buyer that it takes a few days for Posh to get back to people so she probably won't hear back from them right away plus today is Sunday. If you decide to just cancel the transaction, make sure she knows you're doing her a huge favor

Make sure to contact Posh and tell them the reason why you cancelled the transaction and include the snap shot of the conversation. Ask them to take the sold sign off since it's not your fault you had to cancel the transaction. You might have to keep contacting them because I was told them couldn't remove it but I was persistent and they finally removed it.

@hippymama613 Oh boy, your buyer is also a seller. I saw her comment that she would still pay for it. Well her credit card was already charged once you accepted her offer. There is not way to cancel the binding contract unless the seller cancels. You'll have a couple of reasons as to why your canceling: 1) items damaged 2) no longer have the item. None of these apply to you I know. I wish there was an option for buyer changed mind lol.

I saw that comment, I think she means she would like to see if she can still cancel the transaction. AND the answer is NO she can't. It's binding as you keep telling her lol. She's a seller as well and even though she's been on Posh for only a couple of months, she's not off to a very good start. It's totally up to you if you want to cancel. I'm pretty sure you can cancel even though the offer is binding. If you decide to cancel make sure to keep bothering Posh about getting the sold sign off.

@nami001 OK I just sort of said that this would be a very time consuming process for me and that she needs to be very clear on what she is asking me to do before I will even contact them on her behalf. It's crazy because we went back and forth with offers a few times so she had plenty of time to think it over!

Still waiting to get the sold off but I know now that will take a bit. I wanted to ask you about the retail items. @hippymama613 Yay, glad you were able to get that worked out. I wouldn't want to send to a buyer who had buyer's remorse from the get go. Keep mailing Posh to get the sold sign off. It took me several emails to get them to take them off. Yes, you're right you don't have anything retail. Retail is only things you bought at wholesale in bulk & are reselling. I got the same msg from smchop but had to tell her I didn't have anything retail.

@reinem hi! Thank you! I know what you mean about the fit in sizes that aren't yours. I was a bit concerned at first too but when I started my cousin who has some amazing curves gave me a bunch of dresses she had never worn and was getting rid of so I thought I'd try them. They sold pretty quickly and I just do my best to include tons of measurements. It definitely makes the consignment and thrift stores more exciting because you can look all over for hidden gems.

The parties are right at the end of my work day so it's difficult to sneak over to the showroom. Hawaii doesn't have day light savings so now the parties are at 4pm instead of 5pm (HST). They refresh the page as they go along congratulating. Some people refresh the page without congratulating and share to their followers as each listing comes up. The refresh button is at the top right corner I believe. When I hosted my 1st party, I shared the listing first and then pasted my congrats only to realize that others were already congratulating before I had a chance to paste my comments, lol. I think I posted about 25 listings before I realized it. Such a dork haha.

He's almost 2 now and I kept telling him to stop growig but he's not listening. Since yours are grown hopefully some grandkids coming up!! My mom says being a grandma is 100% better cause you get to do all the fun stuff and spoil them and you don't have to discipline them and they're always so excited to see you. You have great bags!! Just so you know I have clothes in all sizes. I just style everything like I wore it. Some are from my real closet but mostly I just shop for stuff I love in every size. So what happens when you share a listing it doesn't only go to the Posh feed but also to the pintrest as well. Others see your pic and it gets repinned. Same concept of sharing but on pintrest and it has a link to your posh account so more people can find you which helps with your sales! 💰💲💸.

When you list for the 1st time, it will automatically ask you if you want it listed on pintrest as well with posh. And it goes out there forever. When ever you make changes or lower a price you can update on pintrest as well. And yes you can follow me here is my username: @mazza0804

I think it takes awhile though. What are you going to change your closet name to? I'm really liking your current closet name though. It's so chic and bohemian, ya know? For your referral code, you can find it in your closet tabs where it says "invite friends". This is the code you give people when they sign up.

It's a one time use so when they start a closet, they'll be asked for the referral code of they have it. If you have Twitter, any time you share your listings there, your code shows up automatically when an interested party clicks on your picture. The pic actually opens up in website and your referral code shows there as well. People are told to use the code for a $10 credit. Cool right? As for IG, anytime you share a listing there, your code shows automatically in the description.

I don't remember what Pinterest does because I forgot my password haha. Social media is a great way to market your closet. If you're not using Twitter or IG you should. I don't use it very much so I should practice what I preach lol. I know lots of Poshers use all social media including Tumbler. Oh and only when a new closet signs up are they asked for a referral code. They'll get the $10 credit to use for a future purchase and you'll get a $10 credit after they make their first purchase. If someone already had a closet and is making a new one it won't work unless all their information is different like email address. Hope this helps. Hugs 😘😘

I haven't used it so I'm not sure where it is but I thought when you sign up it asks for it. As for your name change I like it. About Pintrst, when you share from listing it should automatically open up in the app and then ask you what board you want to pin it to. If you share it the real easy way but clicking on edit and so forth it won't pin to Pintrst. Weird cuz it works on IG and Twitter. It's good your on social media, great way to market and I need to do that more often

I forgot, your comment about thinking 5 steps ahead of my boss, it's overwhelming and stressful haha. I can't tell from his "good morning" what kind of day it's going to be. Every morning I send e-mails to all of our offices in Asia and the U.S. titled, "Hawaii's weather report" haha. If it's a bad day, I'll say cloudy with possible showers. If it's really bad, I'll say thunderstorms.

This lets the executives know to stay near their phones because he'll call them & if they don't pick up right away, he'll get mad. For meetings, I have to anticipate everything he's going to need or want and make sure I have all of that with me Then depending on his mood, I'll have to make a judgement call on where to make reservations for his dinner. The places he goes to are always booked by the time he decides so I make the res in the morning. So far, I haven't missed.

@jayjune thank you that's really kind of you. I think I had two host picks in first couple after I joined Posh. I see people Mark them in some noticeable way, at the time I wasn't aware of the practice of doing that and didn't do that. I see so many host picks that never sell so I didn't think it made much difference. Perhaps I should try anyway!! :)

I know some seasoned poshers say that you should start your title with the brand -that it makes it easier for it to come up towards the top in the search engine. So they just put host pick in the description. I should try both ways & see if that matters at all. I always recommend a few closets for hps at upcoming parties so I'll definitely add yours too. Hello luv! I have a minor situation and was wondering if you could give me some advice? I asked 2 other veteran Poshers but didn't get a response. I'm wondering if it's something that I shouldn't ask?? Recently a new customer purchased 5 pair of pants. She wants to return 3 pair because of fit. All measurements are listed. She had them on hold for a week along with a jacket that she changed her mind on last minute. She wants to return the 3 pair to exchange for jacket. Any sage advice welcomed!

I feel like it's always the people who ask you to do ridiculous stuff like that that are rarely completely satisfied. If it were me I would tell her Posh is firm about their no returns policy and that she is free to reposh them if she wants to.it would be one thing if you made a accidental boo boo but all the info is there. that's the price you pay to Posh. @fabloot anytime my friend!! I hadn't even thought about them being NWT & then resold. It's sort of like trading someone with all your stuff lol. I mean the measurements were there what else could you have done? And then what if the jacket doesn't fit the way she likes or the pants get returned damaged somehow. This will become the longest sale of your life. I think all of it is outside your job description. Let me know how it works out for you! Hope all is well!

@fabloot Oh and yes Posh has no returns policy unless of course it's damaged or not as described but not fitting isn't an option. If it were to be not as described tor damaged they can open a claim through Posh to get a refund. They have to submit pics and then Posh will ask if you have any pics to prove it was perfect when it was sent. Then they make a decision on what side to take. @fabloot stupid 500 words! anyhow she said it was faded with extreme pilling but couldn't prove it in pics (because it was BS) so I won. Now on my expensive items i take a quick pic or 2 right when I'm wrapping it just in case. I know some ladies video tape the whole wrapping process so they must have gotten burned in the past but it hasn't come that far for me yet. I only take multiple pics if they are brand new with no other purchases. But it's like how much can you do to protect yourself? ?

@barnesjan awesome! so now just go under sell like you're going to add a new item and when the camera comes up there will be a little file folder in the corner. When you press that all your photos should come up and then just find the photo grid photo you just saved and that's it! It will be just like another post in your closet so you can move it to anothwr position by sharing your stuff to the feed do it lands where you want it.

I usually put those kinds of posts under "other" in categories so it's easier to find it you want to edit. Most people won't click on the post because it's pretty self explanatory so you just have to add some stuff cause Posh requires it. You can just put anything just to fill the spaces.
