Welcome to my closet! I'm Lisa & I love this fun new posh community! I'm a wife (to Dan for 31 yrs), Mom to 5 crazy kiddos who grew up to be caring adults, ESL teacher to 30 adorable students & a volunteer for Books for a Better World. I started poshing as a way to fundraise for my next BBW trip to Central America & have quickly become a huge Posh fan! I love the beach, Fall in Utah, sunsets, my little Spanish speaking friends & my big crazy family. My mantra is: BElieve THEre is GOOD in the world; BE THE GOOD!

yoga4joy Hi Lisa! I love that mantra. Gorgeous family. I'm one of 9 kids so I dont have any of my own yet but maybe one day. I'm 33 almost 34 and still havent decided! I have 2 nephews and one niece even though I'm the 2nd to the oldest. The youngest is 22 and the oldest is almost 36. Its wild being in a big fam but it makes for a lot of fun as an adult. lisaschuring @marthaarellano Hi Martha! It's so lovely to hear from you my friend! I can't believe you spent the entire summer in Ecuador! How was it? Were you there for a special reason? I'm sure your grandkids all missed you so much! My summer was good- and went way too quickly! As they always do! I had the fun of going to Europe on a Mediterranean cruise with my Mom & sister in June and then spent 3 weeks delivering books in Honduras and Guatemala. I look forward to those special trips all year long! :)

lisaschuring @marthaarellano Hello dear friend! It was such a nice surprise to hear from you! I'm so happy to hear that you are doing well and staying safe and healthy. I seem to be on Poshmark less and less these days but am still enjoying it and making sales every now and then. I've been working tutoring my ESL students in their "at home" learning packets since school was dismissed on March 13th. I'm actually working 32 hrs a week now versus the 24 hrs a week I worked before the CoVid crisis.

lisaschuring @marthaarellano I've also had a full house with my daughter coming home from Cali to ride the lockdown out here at home versus alone in LA. And my sweet 81 yr old Mom lives about 5 minutes away now so I've been busy shopping for her and getting her to the Dr. and just trying to make sure she's well taken care of and doesn't get too lonely with the stay at home restrictions. She was just diagnosed with stage 4 kidney failure so we're trying really hard to keep her safe from catching CoVid. Ugh !
