trevor383 Hi Lisa, I can't comment on the same thread anymore, because it's been deleted. If you're still interested in selling the watch, please let me know the price you'd be comfortable with. I'm will to pay more. Thanks

boho97 @trevor383 Hi Trevor. I’m going to service the watch here in Toronto. If I end up putting it back up for sale, I’ll reach out to you first. Thanks!

trevor383 @lisagaum Thanks for letting me know, Lisa. Just a heads up, you will make more from me (and most likely anyone else) if you sell it before servicing. I'd rather it be serviced by a jeweler I know and trust, so wouldn't pay the price we agreed to plus servicing costs. Factor in you were having difficulty selling a watch most buyers believed was in working condition for $600, and then add $500 to the price. Do you think buyers will now pay $800-$900 for it? I wouldn't. (page 1/2)

trevor383 (Page 2/2) A similar scenario happens in the car industry with engine rebuilds. Only mechanics usually make money in this situation. Why don't I pay you $300 now, and then I'll absorb the cost of servicing it? That way I'll know what was wrong with it. It may cost me a bit more, but I plan on having it for years so I won't mind. If you've been told by your jeweler it needs more than just a service, which is probably true if it stopped working, please let me know anything he/she told you. Thanks
