🤔 Hmm should I start from the beginning? Ok, I’ll spare you the insane details so here goes. Hi, my name is Lisa and I’m a mom (oh, wife too) of 4 boys who’re ALL on the Autism Spectrum. Yup, it’s a s$&t show everyday BUT by God’s grace I am still breathing. Despite the trials, they are my sweet blessings (Cup half full). (He still drinks from a bottle but has begun eating pasta recently. ) His resistance is so tiring. I was not prepared for how big they would get so quickly. @ricanpoo1 thank you so much. I have stopped asking God why and have come to the conclusion that he had my book already written. All the chapters from beginning to end. I do not know how my book ends or how my children’s books end, but I have to believe that there is a purpose why I was given this challenge. Perhaps God trusted that I could handle it, so i can not fail. I have To continue to fight through the storm. I know there is a rainbow on the other side.

I was a retail manager for 10 years, I think a picture can sell ANYTHING if you do your work and care enough SOMEONE can make a trash bag look fashionable. ABA therapy was a virtual unreachable dream for us because of how expensive it is. My husband and I are depleted in both our souls and bodies. This is not for the weak in spirit and our spirits are tested daily but what will never be tested are our love for our children...

@lolibearscloset eldest son never shuts up, younger doesn't speak at all; not attempting to either. It's stressful and tiring but as u know u just keep going, you have four boys on the spectrum hats off to you; I can't even comprehend. Both r different but have some similar traits. If u've seen 1 autistic child u have seen 1 autistic child; kind of a cliché but very true. I'm sorry u're having a rough time but I'm sure you're doing an amazing job, the smiles on your children's faces says it all!

It is the most difficult life to explain to others who do not live it, but I tell them that it is like being a nurse, a lawyer, a chef and an architect and literally trying to perform all the responsibilities the comes with each profession all at the same time because all the boys are different and if you screw up one task while juggling all, it affects everything for the rest of the day. It is truly something inconceivable.

I am very candid and raw about our experiences but very optimistic because there have been so many strides made. Thank God. My first son stays up until midnight, then goes to sleep and wakes up two to three hours later to parade the house, throw stuff out of the fridge, wash his hands after 10 pumps of soap, throw papers... etc... OCD on steroids.... I have to be up the entire time... 🤪 wish they sold sleep at the supermarket. 😂😂

@got7seven oh gosh. You have no idea. My first son is will be 18 this year and he is 6’2” weighs 260 lbs and I still have to bath him and take care of all his hygiene needs. Our second son turns 16, he is not as big but we still have to do everything for him also, plus he consumes his food from a bottle. The first two are non verbal....

I know u are very very very appreciated !! ❤️💪🏼 idk how my baby will be when he grows older , he does say his abc , shapes , colores but he don’t eat regular food like that , only baked beans and chicken nuggets & fries lol we give him the bottle too , we be mixing Gerber fruit , pedisure ,milk and cereal together,..that’s his meal .. he is not ready to be potty trained but that’s ok with me ...i just want to know what the future brings

@thedezirani you’re going to make me cry. 😢😢 Ay the time that I started the bows, I only had two boys with autism and I was hustling for them. God gave me blessed hands and I was (still am) willing to use them to provide for my boys... just at the peak of the bows just blowing up, the last two boys were showing signs of autism and ultimately diagnosed. I felt like I had died two more time and I had to focus on them....

@ahlizee Dear Goodness. I just came from a 20 minutes shower, crying uncontrollably while the water poured over my face. I get to take showers like these for that length of time on a Saturday while the boys are being watched by their dad. I thought I was done and reading your message made them all just come rolling down my face again.....

Hi, I just bought the Nike react sneakers from you. I have a son 13 with ASD so I cannot imagine how hard it must be with 4 on the spectrum. I sell on posh as well to help supplement my income since I can no longer work full time any more. My prayers for you and your family. Hi so I just noticed that these might have been sent to my old address, which is weird Cause I took it off of here, I have 2 orders coming .& you both shipped on the same day she sent to the right address but it looks like these are going like I said to my old address .& I’m not sure how. I didn’t see what state your in, but tap into services for your boys, if these services are available. Rhode Island is where I live, & many services are available to this population. Not just autistic children, all special needs children & adults.
