Hello! And thank you for stopping by Little Swift Thrift! Most of my closet is from my personal collection with the occasional special find from thrifting adventures. I use all natural detergents when laundering and do not use any strong perfumes. Ours is a non smoking household. We do have a gorgeous Standard Poodle in residence. jeannebw Hi Kristen, I’m sorry you thought your dress smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. It’s never been around cigarettes! It was cleaned. I do heat with wood, so probably the box, the tissue paper, and the dress itself all had that residual odor which generally airs out easily.
