I noticed a lot of closets have their items listed for very cheap and are still willing to bargain 😳🤯😲and I haven’t been able to sell anything yet 😔😢( maybe that’s because of my prices) but I would literally be losing money if I didn’t price them at what they now currently are (I’ve already reduced them all a few times)

I know for like stickers and bags Amazon and Wish are good but as far as like boxes or the packaging material you put in the boxes… where do you source that from?

suncoastbella Hi Lucy, I saw your comment regarding getting sales - my advice is to follow and share ppl’s closet and in return they will share yours so that you get more eyes on your lovely items. This will take time but be diligent to share your items as well as others. I was totally in the same boat as you are earlier this year but I googled information on how to reach potential shoppers.

suncoastbella @fashionsgates When you share their listing it goes to your followers. I would follow and share Posh Ambassadors who have like 10-40,000+ followers. When they share your listing it will be on their feed. I started at the end of Jan - and after researching in March, I realized I had to share literally everyday.

Is there like a special list of posh ambassador‘s in order of who has more followers?? or do you just have to click on their closet to see their info??

hiphopposh @suncoastbella Last question: I notice a lot of people only share one thing from my closet at a time and I know that works to get them seen on my end but as far as their feed goes - if they only share one listing than that’s the one that appears on the feed right?? but if they were to share a bunch of my listings do they all show up in the feed? suncoastbella @fashionsgates Hi again, I know different poshers have tried different strategies to get more followers. 1) You can go to the feed, click on the ppl icon and scroll down there’s a list of posh ambassadors. 2) Share closets of ppl who like your items

suncoastbella 3) I read that some sellers will search out sellers who sell a lot of items and look through their love notes and add all the people that gave them love notes. I haven’t done this as it sounds very time consuming. Also if those love note ppl have closets, they will share a bunch of their listings.

suncoastbella 4) Similar to 3) you can do a search for items that you are selling, check out other seller closets and follow/share with them. 5) Many poshers do follow a share-for-share philosophy.. I’m pretty sure the higher sellers who get whole lot of followers, finds it pretty difficult to keep up with sharing back every single time 😁 so there’s not really a rhyme or reason why one person would share 1 item and another 10.

suncoastbella Lastly and I’m not entirely sure - your shares show in your followers’ feed , and often if someone shares your items, their followers will see it in their feed. I hoped I helped and not talking a lot of mumble jumble 🥰

toptncat @fashionsgates Hello... May I just say I don't know if your profile picture is of your hair or someone else's, but it is absolutely stunning! Secondly, I noticed you asked someone about boxes and supplies. I don't know how it works in Canada, but our postal system allows us to go online and order boxes for free, and they are shipped to our homes for free. There are many sizes to choose from. We can also schedule free package pickup at our home during regular business hours. 🙋🏼‍♀️Cathy

hiphopposh @toptncat Hey Cathy! That’s my sisters name! 🥰 I wish I could say the photo is me but it’s just a photo I found that looks most like my hair. It’s almost identical. I used the chrome filter so that’s why it’s so white. But that’s how I prefer it. Anyway, I really appreciate your response about shipping and I’ve actually looked into it now (jjust yesterday actually lol) and Canada does not provide the same luxury as the USPS… just another reason why I love the states LOL…

hiphopposh @toptncat but I’m lucky I live on the border of Detroit Michigan and the borders will open up soon so I think I’m going to hit up some old friends and see if they can get them for me 🥺🙏🤞lol then just take my chances and drive them across. Teehee 🤭🤣Hopefully once I’m home they’ll allow said boxes from the US (ship only within Canada) I mean they’re just boxes right??

toptncat @fashionsgates I'll tag you in one of my listings that shows posh packages being mailed out in USPS boxes. They do have USPS on them, and PRIORITY all over them. I'm sorry I can't advise re:Canadian shipping... but there must be a substantial difference since Poshmark still disallows Canadian and US poshers to buy and sell from each other 😏 which is puzzling 🤔💭, especially since we can share each other's closets.

toptncat @fashionsgates Also, local post offices do not keep many of these boxes in house, and they have a very limited supply of the ones they do have.
