They are scammers trying to lure you off Poshmark and phish for your personal info like CC#. They use fake emails saying they bought your item. Most are not living in Canada either. To stay safe and be covered by Poshmark protection, only use the official site/app. Happy sales!

cubbiemolly @maddiecells how did they send you money? I heard they ask for peoples cc number to “deposit” money but of course they don’t and then they have your cc#. I would just be careful sending or giving anything to a stranger off Poshmark where you won’t be protected.

maddiecells @cubbiemolly They’ve sent the money through poshmark and i’ve gotten the confirmation from poshmark etc. but one person i emailed twice and they said the exact same things but seems clueless to our earlier convo just weird

cubbiemolly @maddiecells just remember that if you sell your item through Poshmark. The second someone buys it, a red sold sign goes on your item and you will be emailed a Canada post label immediately. Your earning will go in your Poshmark account balance which will then can be transferred to your bank account.
