@kelliattadhg1 You've got a nice closet! & your pictures are original - so that's good! But I feel like that's only good for the platforms standards and buyers on Poshmark.. I'm not against all the posher's that put like 5 items in a picture, yet they are only selling one (it gives that creative touch - so that's nice) ---->

@kelliattadhg1 so for ME - presentation is #1 priority. #2 to me, after having a hefty amount of inventory comes - Marketing. Every platform has different standards and with the whole social feel that Poshmark has, many users confuse "promoting" with "spamming" because the ability to do so is at everybody's finger-tips - Basically, if you think you're spamming somebody, then you probably are.

@kelliattadhg1 But if you're posting something somewhere that you wouldn't mind somebody else posting on the top of your page, then go with it! Some people don't even know their spamming, because they're just trying to sell, yet un-intentionally annoying others, just because their not used to being in the market of Sales. Use all the tools the platform gives you (ALL of them, consistently)

@kelliattadhg1 Growth tips I've used: Go to the home feed > click the brands that you sell > Filter to the pictures "Just In" or "Just Shared" (as those will display the most active users at the time) > Then follow everyone that has "Liked" a similar item that you sell.... This will get their attention and possibly get them to view your items/closet

@kelliattadhg1 POSH PARTIES > A lot of YouTube influencers say they never use the parties, but I've generated most of my sales through them! Just make sure you share the appropriate items to the suggested details of the party + plus it gives you another reason to share your item again to push it up in the search engines! the 10pm Parties are usually "All Brands" "All Categories" - so that's my favorite

(Look at your Posh Stats, Community Shares, Self Shares, etc; --) There's a reason that Poshmark wants every seller to maintain a certain amount to become a Posh Ambassador - so do your best to grow each number at the same pace! I share my whole closet every morning / & then at which ever party(s) I'm attending!

Please don't use your copy & paste methods of marketing on my listings / esp. my "meet the posher" post to promote your closet. Poshmark is a great platform to sell & advertise your posts/listings in SO many ways.. Encourage others on their post - if you know them - give them an incentive for your % off click-bait - throwing around "every thing must go" "spend this to get this much off" are only successful sale schemes in big box corporations

Poshmark Tip/Suggestion #300: Don't use emoji's in your listings title. Reason being - our listings on Poshmark show up on other search engines, such as Google, & if a buyer is looking for your item via google, your listing either won't appear or the title will be totally distorted for anybody to understand, which probably won't get clicked on.

(2 of 2) typically be 142 people. Reason being --> Poshmark now automatically inputs 142 random 'Poshmark Ambassadors' as the first users that NEW users will follow. Which means if Poshmark is automatically selecting 142 Poshmark Ambassadors for new users to follow, it's because those are active users!!

Poshmark Tip/Suggestion/Opinion #303: Marketing/Promoting your closet is important. But hear me out: 9 times out of 10, users will not be attracted or pulled into your closet from a copy & paste method of the promotional sales you're currently running. Engage with Poshers that have already purchased and received your items that already trust you and have built any kind of social connection with! ENGAGE! We can turn on the tv for advertising robots!! K! :0)

Poshmark Tip/Suggestion #304: Adjust the listings that are at the top of your closet at a minimum of a couple of hours a day <>if possible<> REASON: Active Poshers go from closet to closet and share approx. 3-8 items from each, which will usually be at the top of your closet. By moving around the listings, this will ensure that your other items get shared, increasing viewable activity to more of your items!!

My advice with tagging somebody in an item would only to be if you're suggesting they add it to a bundle that they've already created ((like if it would be of use as an add-on to what's already in their bundle)) - There's a market for everything, but just randomly tagging somebody in an item might be a little pushy... Engage with others by taking advantage of every tool Poshmark has to offer in ways that you can control.... like....

@xzibit115 ... sharing YOUR closet at least 2-3 times a day and especially in the parties, as this will bring poshers to your closet naturally as they see your listings, and all you're doing is promoting yourself! Now if somebody "likes" one of your listings, a lot of the times it's because they are interested.....

@xzibit115 .... in the item, so they may be waiting for you to do an "Offer To Likers" with a discount on shipping or the price... They may not always be interested in the item though, as some, unknowingly, might only "like" the listing as a part of them pushing activity...

@xzibit115 - overall - I feel whats worked best for me when it comes to the start of any type of engagement flow with other poshers is to follow active users, share their items ((scroll up for more detailed tips on how to find ACTIVE users)) and be consistently making those same type of moves on the time/structure that works the best for your closet!

If you don't have anything to sell, my whole closet of 600+ listings is 5 for $50 (making each item $10 each, no matter what the single listed price is) - & I also do not mind if when you receive the items you purchase, if you would like to resell them in your own closet!! :0) .. You can also use the same pictures that I have taken if you'd like!!

Poshmark Tip/Suggestion #315: (1 of 2) note: This one is pretty obvious, but I figured I would mention since people were just talking about it. ALWAYS answer a poshers additional questions about your items - even if you "know" they are not going to buy the item. Think of it as now you're adding those additional details to your listing that you didn't have before, which may lead the next interested buyer to purchase!

@myfurryfamily Hey Cathy! There's no actual 'Bookmark' for a closet, but a lot of Posher's will make a listing, letting other posher's know to "like" that particular post and when they update/add/edit that certain post, it will send a notification to those who "liked" / bookmarked it! :0)

I absolutely love so many things in your closet. Now is not a shopping time for me unfortunately, but even though I have read everything I can find to read. I have not found a way to favorite or save a seller so that I can go back to them at a later time. You also have the poly mailers that I have been using for years.

@tulus4all (2 of 2) photocollage.com > upload your picture and center it to the middle > then save as JPG > once you open that file in Poshmark, it'll give you a lot of white space on each side of the item so that you can zoom in and make it fit, without messing up any of the pixels! @tulus4all The "recommended" size is a 720x720 (perfect square) / but it really has to do with how to get your photo to that size or as close to BEFORE convert it to that size, so that the pixels don't blur.. If the first part doesn't work for you, I have some other ways you can do it! - So let me know! :0)

Poshmark Tip/Suggestion #332: A faster way to share items! Instead of using the app on your phone, use your phones internet browser, log in to your Poshmark and view it as the desktop version/site! Now when you go to share your items, or another Posher's items, it will feel a lot faster! Give it a shot! :0)

@lisaroxyj to move your listings around in an order that you want has to do with the order you share your items in. When you share a list of your own, it'll be the very first item up top.. So you would have to share the items in an order that you would want them to appear

@yfromer Hey.. well I have 300+ rings & they not all from the same cut. Some are natural. Some are hand-made/manufactured. Some are 925 Silver. Some are gemstones & lab-created. @m_rayner someone else also told me that during parties you can only share your listing once to a party, which I didnโt know and I was sometimes sharing multiple times. I guess thatโs why when you get a host pick people congratulate you and share it to their โfollowersโ not to the party!

The more items shared to a party, the better it looks in the final number for Posh! But since I haven't heard of anything like that, I'll say I'm like 99.8% sure you can share your listings an infinity amount of times to a party lol ((as long as your listings category meets the parties guidelines.... 10pm parties, it's all categories))

If I can save somebody the 6 hours of work/digging/researching/testing of things ((from what I've learned)) - then that's when I feel more whole - Plus, I'm still learning new things everyday! If you're not getting sales - I don't think it's because of your items / yet maybe the lack of traffic ((but the "right" kind of traffic that will lead people who are interested in your particular items)) -- Me personally, I like to create personalized bundles for people who like more than 1 item of mine which has boost my sales significantly!

Like if somebody "likes" an item or creates a bundle of your items with intentions to make a purchase - find a generic/small item - one that won't hurt your profit/margin to drop the price some - and also one that is just small enough of an amount for the buyer to not withdraw/lose interest in the bundle!

NOW "share" a cheaper item to that person so that it adds into their bundle and then submit an offer that is very very close the original price / or cheaper depending on your margin

Something that could be useful for anybody because honestly, we don't know what they like!! I add "Thank You Stickers" .. I have 20ct - 50ct - 80ct .. They can then use them themselves after the whole transaction with me

"Thank You Stickers" are safe because it's obvious with the price drop that I'm not trying drain anybody's bank account, but trying to maybe give somebody a better deal, which could then lead to a repeated buyer...

Because EVERY BRAND and even UNBRANDED items sell! Are all your rings whole sizes? Hi! Sorry to bother you: but do you know how I can report someone for selling fake items? This person is creating a different account every time Poshmark removes them. Itโs. A scam. They make the person send a text and pay via Zelle. And they have a made up email directly from Poshmark that says itโs ok to engage in the transaction via Zelle.

@puzzlestack My days are different than most because I'm not on "Father Times" structured clock lol .. The majority of the work I put in gets accomplished over-night because there's less distractions. Which key #1 in being efficient (in my opinion) is to make a list of 5 things that are slowing down your progress. Then work your way digging into those and trying to figure out how to stay focused on the work that will produce a desired result instead of slow you down.

Because it's really only your decision to just stop wasting energy, love, hate, time and money on the things that are not bettering you. It takes a lot of self discipline. But everyone has a different business plan so building a structure for that along with other aspects of your life are really only a scale that you can put on

@lvliz4077 Thank you, Liz! ๐ - Any of your items that you โshareโ to your followers or to a party, will automatically go to the top of your closet - so youโve got to kind of adjust it that way โ if you plan on curating your listings โ you can also go to your closet , then filter your listings by brand, share all those to your followers if you wanted your brands to be by each other!

@lvliz4077 usually I will share my closet and not worry about the order โ unless a certain party is coming up that I plan on sharing my items too, then I will filter my listings by category , such as โKidsโ then share all my Kids items so that they appear at the top of my closet and ready for me to share to the party

@lvliz4077 Try it on a couple things .. share a couple items in your closet to your followers and then refresh your page, or click on โMy Closetโ again so that you can see where the items you just shared went โ youโll get the hang of that in no time!! Let me know if you need anything else ๐

Nope - nothing yet! it's cool though, I totally understand the shipping cycle as of right now -- more than half of my packages that I ship out haven't even been getting their first confirmation scan until it's already in the buyers city! ((even the ones I physically take to the clerk at the PO))

I haven't done this in a while but.... TIP/SUGGESTION: #403: When you're sharing your items, don't share the same brands back to back. Reason: When buyers use the search to look for an item, and keywords find what you 'just shared' if you have, for example, 4 "Ralph Lauren" shirts all next to each other, then more than likely the buyers eyes will see one and pass the rest by, ... If you share the same brand in between other brands, they won't be right next to each other in organic searches.

Don't be overwhelmed with the amount of listings/sales that any other posher gets -- Most people who are buying don't use Poshmark to sell and are on the consumer side, so they'll search for items by the Search Bar and not by users closets! Scroll through my comments, I've left tons of tips/suggestions through-out!

I do use a ring light to bring out all the details in the item, so that it doesnโt get distorted if I need to edit - but download the app called PHOTO ROOM. Itโs the quickest way that Iโve experienced in editing to get that crisp white background PLUS you can import more than one picture at a time which is a game changer!

@jillwilliams140 hey - you ordered the 29th - I shipped on the same day - if you click โShippedโ in โView Orderโ you can see all of the tracking information and that USPS accepted it (scanned it) the next day on the 30th. Itโs been in their possession - theyโve been delaying even orders Iโm suppose to receive but I wouldnโt sweat it - you can check all the tracking there though for a quicker response!
